The Cosmos Black paint is an absolutely beautiful and rare color a black base mixed with dark grey and blue metallic that take on an extraordinary look in multiple lights. Along with the color the polished aluminum 18 inch rims really set this e39 off with just a classy BMW sport look. The paint is in great shape there is some minor scuffs on the rear bumper and front bumper typical of a 15 year old black car. There is one minor ding on the left rear door as well as the front bumper has a crack on the bottom. The car has been tinted with high quality film at 20 percent on all windows. Interior of this e39 matches the exterior with it's luxury and beauty. The black leather accented with the premium wood sets the inside off with a taste of class. The interior is loaded up equipped with side airbags, a 6 disk CD player, heated seats, BMW phone, rear folding seats, and a ski bag. The rear windows are in/op. The driver seat has a spot of wear typical of a 15 year old car. There are no tears in the seat. Mechanically this car is in great condition. The 4.4 liter V8 is amazing with all the power and torque that you need, it runs very strong. It has always had the oil changed every 3,000 with Mobil 1 fully synthetic 0w-40 oil. The Getrag 6 speed transmission shifts wonderfully. There is a minor leak towards the top of the power steering reservoir at the cap seal. The car brakes fine with no hesitation. Being a 6 speed this car does not have the typical 540i auto transmission issues and will be a blast to drive for many many years to come.
