2001 Chevy Malibu tan stored in garage for about a month as i got a new vehicle. Check engine light is on Chevy dealer says it is a gas tank seal. Tried new gas cap twice solves problem for about a month then light back on. Drove the car for two years with this light as there is no problem with engine or how the vehicle runs when code is tested for check engine it says "Emissions". Slight chip in passenger side mirror, small crack rear view mirror. Air conditioning works great and the car's heater will sweat you out of the vehicle. 25 mpg city 32 mpg highway does very well for a 6 cylinder. 70% of the miles on this vehicle are highway doesn't have very many hard miles on it at all. All new exhaust system in 2012, also all new pads, shoes, rotors 2012. Like i said great mpg and car runs great just got sick of inspection tickets because of that light or i would definitely still be driving it..
