Known for their reliability and off road capabilities, the XJ Cherokee has become an all around popular choice for a daily driver & weekend warrior. Dressed in Black, this truck is in great condition and very clean for a 14 year old vehicle. It does display the typical “etching” or “micro cracking” of the paint on the roof..see picture. The sub-frames, doors and body panels show no signs of rust, major dents or deep scratches. There is a small area of rust on the drivers side floor pan…see picture. All glass is in tact without cracks. Mirrors, door handles and latches are in great shape. The grille, bumpers and fender flares are also in great shape. I’ve attached pictures of the door lip seams and tailgate lip to display the cleanliness of this truck. Interior: Equipped with the "Limited" package, this Cherokee has one of the more luxurious interiors you will find, with power, heated leather seats, overhead console and wood grain accents. The truck has A/C, cruise control, PW, PL, etc. Best of all, the power windows and locks all work as they should(these 4-door trucks are plagued with windows and locks that don’t work properly). Overall, the interior is in great condition…no rips or tear in the leather! The truck is also equipped with a factory Infinity speaker system and an aftermarket Sony head unit. Summary: It seems used XJ’s come from one of two worlds…it’s either totally stock(sagging in the rear of course!) and owned by a member of the PTA…or it’s been lifted, beat and thrashed by some adolescent teenager! This truck offers a look classy enough for a Friday night on the town…yet will still own up to it’s own should you want to take it out on the trails. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced Jeep Cherokee that has more to offer than all the others…this is your truck.If you’re in the market for a lifted XJ, take a calculator to what it’s going to cost to build a nice one. First off, you’ll need a decent Cherokee…let’s say in the $3500-$4500 range. Then add a quality lift kit, $1500 worth of tires and wheels, locker, etc…well you get the idea! Why not buy a well taken care of XJ and save yourself the time? Vehicle sold as-is with no warranty. Title in-hand (prior salvage). (It’s crazy what insurance companies deem as salvage condition...I still have the dented front fender and door that were replaced a year and a half ago!).
