IF YOUR A METICULOUS WAX AND POLISH PERSON PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. This an adventure touring bike and has been used for that purpose. I am the 2nd owner first owner put all but 2100 miles on it. He was a bike mechanic an part owner of a Suzuki/Yamaha dealership. Bike has been taken care of mechanically. It has been to Alaska and back plus other trips all over the USA. It has been ridden in rain and snow. It has rust on exhaust because of this. The plastic parts have scratches and some are heavy. Mechanically I would not be afraid to ride it anywhere. I'm selling because I have 3 other bikes and a scooter. This motorcycle will come with all kinds of spare parts the yellow is in descent shape with only minor blemishes a nick here or there. Silver tank and side panels although scratched, tank has been seal coated on inside and the left side panel is cut in half for easy access to fuse block when bike is loaded up. The yellow tank is not sealed on the inside and the side cover is not cut. I eliminated weight by eliminating one side of the exhaust (it's welded shut). I do have all the parts to put it back to dual exhaust if so desired. I bought a used set of aftermarket Stained Tuned exhaust but never installed them because I needed a power commander to program fuel injection. They are used and have scratches, some small dents (see photos) and are missing one clamp. That exhaust is 1200 dollars new. The windscreen I believe to be a Suzuki tall and so is the spare. The top box was a side box so one side has a red reflector the other clear. It has an alarm but I have never used it. It has an extra 12 volt adapter under the seat, a ram ball for mounting gps, heated grips, and a Throttlemeister throttle lock/ bar ends, The seat was traded for a dl650 so it's 1" lower than the 1000. It comes with a 2" bar risers not installed. Tires, sprockets and chain are in good conditon wtih many miles left on them. I also will give you a new genuine Suzuki oil filter and oil. The spare motor has 31000 miles on it, so I was told. Previous owner bought a wrecked bike therefore all the extra parts. Please do not bid if you are not serious. I do not want to relist. Reserve is lower then kkb or nada trade in value.You can't find a KLR 650 for this price. Buy it now is the only way to end auction early. $500 reserve due within 24hrs of auction end.
