Classic 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible LOW RESERVE Looks great and runs well. Green with white convertible POWER top and black interior. Repainted in the fall of 2012 (receipts included) Straight 6 cyl engine Automatic Transmission, MS, MB, 53,700 miles. AM/FM/CD with MP3 controller and updated speakers. Newer tires with plenty of tread. Brakes converted to use silicon brake fluid to avoid erosion. We have always garaged the car and never drove it in the rain or bad weather. Soft car cover and original boot included. My wife (a female and non-smoker) has owned this car for more than 20 years and has only put about 20,000 miles on it. Issues: 1. Exhaust leak at the manifold which makes the car louder than need be. My wife has always liked the way it sounded so we never fixed it. Brand new exhaust manifold and gasket included with the sale. 2. Passenger side door shows gap due to newly installed weatherstrip when painted fall of 2012. According to the body shop the weather strip will soften up with use and the heat of the approaching summer and the door will close better. Just in case, I am including the original weatherstrip that was on the car as well. 3. Car leaks a little oil and marks it spot from time to time. 4. Some rust issues underneath and in trunk, but mostly solid. I tried to supply pictures as best that I could. The underneath was professionally undercoated 20 years ago to provide further protection against the elements. This Mustang is not show perfect but it starts, runs, drives, stops and looks great doing it. This is a great car to drive and have a ton of fun in on a sunny day.
