Vehicle Detail
Here is a fairly nice TR6.. overall pretty good shape for almost 40 years. Someone needs to enjoy rather than parking it over the winter in storage. It has a full cover and a cover for when you put the top down in the back. The seats, carpet, door panels, dash, glove box, are all new and look immaculate. all knobs in place and gauges are all working....lights, turn signals, brights, flashers all work! Paint on car has been repainted and for 8 years old still in pretty good shape about a 8 out of 10. Top convertible has a little "L" shape cut on the top passenger side from the familar take the top down and no one on the passenger side helping tucking it in as you lower it. It is patched and looks fine. Trunk all re carpeted and fitted with the original side panels. Cosmetically the car is 8 out of 10. THIS ISN'T A ROTISSERE RESTORATION...BUT THIS IS A NICE DAILY DRIVER OR TAKE IT OUT TO JUST HAVE FUN!! I wish I could of taken pictures of underneath the car, but it is cold here...the exhaust is all new from front to back! new front shocks. Tires 80% Also all the tie rods and bushings have been replaced in front along with rear suspension. Floor boards solid! There is a bubble in paint in back driver side rear bumper and crack in paint by the rear driver side...unnoticeable but it is there. Back rear L shaped chrome bumpers are showing signs pitting up close. it has a good title, but was part of garage fire some 8 years ago and saved...which as you can see by the pictures has been restored., the vehicle has been painted, carpeted, and mechanically been taken care of when anything needed fixed...but now I am kinda clearing out the toys...if I don't sell it it will get a spin on oil filter, probably a hardtop if I can find one and fix some odds and possibly paint it again ends and then give it to my kid when I die : ) IT NEEDS TO BE DRIVEN AND ENJOYED VERSUS DRIVEN ONCE IN A WHILE STORED AND LOOKED AT ONCE IN A WHILE. Tranny and motor real strong and shifts smoothly. Has a crane electronic ignition, 20/50w oil changes. new plugs, air filters also the had the CARBS REBUILT by Paltech AND POWDERCOATED ALONG WITH THE VALVE COVERS AND AIR CLEANER HAVE BEEN POWDER COATED TOO. ALL HOSES REPLACED, THERMOSTAT, BRAKES THERE IS NO MECHANICAL WORK YOU NEED TO DO... I am not asking a lot for this TR6 from what I see on these other TR6s, BUT REALIZE THIS CAR IS 40YRS OLD, OVERALL MECHANICALLY SOUND, YOU COULD DRIVE IT HOME IT'S THAT DEPENDABLE ... BETTER THAN MOST OUT THERE AND A GREAT WAY TO GET INTO A TR6. more pictures upon request...just send me your email. mine is flh79@wmtel.net Thanks for looking and HAPPY BIDDING...BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKUP AND $250 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT (keeps the fake bidders away) IS NEEDED WITHIN 48HRS AFTER WINNING...
