1955 Cadillac 4 dr Series 62. I got this car years ago from Connecticut where it had been in a garage since 1972 or so I was told. The oil in the pan had turned to a thick goo so I think it was sitting for a long time. Have not done much to the car. Had the front seat upholstered and the transmission rebuilt. The back seat was not done but I have some of the original upholstery for it that goes with the car. The car runs good but could use a new exhaust or a bit of work on the existing one. Its not bad but the pipe rattles and knocks a bit. Vacuum wipers do not work very good. Radio and clock do not work either. Steering wheel is nice and is not cracked. Hood and front fenders have a lousy color match to the rest of the car. They were nice and original but the transmission shop messed them up and they had to be repainted. All glass is good and car does seem to run good but I think the accelerator pump needs work. . Sometimes hard to start but good for the rest of the day after initial start. Right now the car has a 3 year Texas registration good until August 2015. If bought in Texas I will deliver the car for free, all others will have to make arrangements. I would prefer people see the car first but I know thats not always possible on ebay.
