1963 chevy Belair Description Odometer: 10,700 VIN# 31669A206773 Engine: 283 V8 Transmission: Automatic Up for sale is my Baby!! i have owned this car for the past 4 years and has been a ongoing restoration project for the past 3 years. I have an Upholstery shop here in Wilmington NC and this has been my "shop car" Time has come to let somebody else soak up all the attention in their town! This car will turn heads everywhere you go and is an absolute blast to drive! It has full airride suspension made for this make and model car, so it is not pieced together with random parts. I removed every piece of trim, moldings, weather stripping and emblems when car was painted. its a dark burgundy root beer type color with white pearl paint on top and gold pearl painted over everything! There is also a hand painted gold pin stripe painted down body lines to break the two colors up. I had the original 283 taken out and completely rebuilt, bored .30 over and mild cam installed, power pack heads completely rebuilt as well. The 2 speed powerglide trans runs smoothly and changes gear without a hitch. Interior obviously from my line or work has also been completely reupholstered, except for the original 1963 headliner that was flawless and i thought cool to leave alone. I installed two separate seat heaters in front bench seat that feel awesome on cold days, installed an aftermarket pioneer cd player in glove box with JL audio amplifier in truck to power the 2 6.5" speakers up front in custom kick panels and the 6x9" speakers in custom package tray in rear. Sounds Great! I also have custom fiberglass sub-woofer box in trunk but never installed a sub-woofer! hole can be cut to fit a 12" or even a 15" sub-woofer. Also The 20" wheels and tires are BRAND NEW. I do have all stainless trim that goes down body of car but never installed after paint, and also have all new weather stripping for every door and trunk! I have kept car indoors every since painted 2 years ago so it has never seen weather.. This was an extremely solid car to start with, but don't think this is a perfect show car.. There are some minor scratches in paint just from being in shop, and is by no means a $80,000 car! But this is not a piece of junk either! I have set a very fair reserve for the amount of money and time I have into the car and know I will not get it all back out!
