Beautiful 1996 Chevy G1500 Customized High Top Conversion Van.Has a V8 5.7L Engine with 155,500 miles on odometer. Downsizing to smaller SUV or Sedan now that all the kids are grown. I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle, before that it was my fathers and he performed regular maintenance. I have had the vehicle for approx. 1.5 years but can hold on to her no longer.White and Teal with Teal and Light Gray interior. Gorgeous real wood accents. Fits 7 comfortably. Back couch reclines into spacious bed. Both middle seats can be removed to allow for more room (great for Camping). TV and VCR with Original Remote (VCR gets temperamental if moisture gets into it). Comes with 3 Headsets (new foam is needed on earpieces). Individual controls for volume of the TV. Vacuum with attachments. TV, VCR, Valance and Reading lights can be comfortably controlled by the passengers as well as the driver (there is a control panel for these accessories over the rear-view mirror, on a wall nest to the passenger behind the driver and on the wall by the couch). Four shallow wooden storage spaces along the length of the vehicle, One deep wooden storage space above the couch and One deep wooden storage place next to the TV. First Aid Kit, Jack, Ratchet and accessories. Extra 110 outlet in back along with two extra reading lights. A place where a rod was previously hung for clothing. On-Board plug in Battery Charger. Five Ashtrays. Plenty of cup holders. Cassette Tape and CD Player. Sun-visors with lights (passengers sun-visor plastic flip lid that goes over mirror is broken on one side). Center Console storage. Spare Tire, Tow bar and hitch. Towing rope, Original Owners Manual, Haynes Vehicle Repair Manual, Extra Battery Terminal Bolts, Extra Distributor Cap and Rotor, Extra Camshaft Sensor and more. CosmeticsOutside Has only two tiny rust spots that are hardly noticeable unless you're really looking for them. Crack on corners of step-up rails. Several small places where paint loss has occurred and cracked windshield on passenger side (does not effect driving or inspection). Key less entry button (lock, unlock) does not work. Inside Has some minor stains on carpet and upholstery, Passenger side door panel has always been loose (I tightened it up today but it may not stay), Passenger sun-visor plastic cover over mirror broken on one side, fold down cup holder is loose on passenger 3rd door, VCR is temperamental when moisture gets in it and probably some other minor thing that I have forgotten. But it is all normal wear due to age. Cosmetic ProsAll lights (high beam, low beam, blinkers, break, reverse, parking, valence, reading, accents and dome) work. All individual control panels for lights and volume work, all outlets and lighter outlets work, heating and AC work, Cruise Control and tilt steering work, Vacuum works, TV works, VCR work (but temperamental). Very little rust for age. Wood storage and accents all in excellent condition. Stereo, CD and Cassette player all work. Horn works. Air bags have never been deployed. Original Keys and more. Mechanical MaintenanceNew Distributor Cap 3-16-13, New Rotor 3-16-13, New Fuel Filter 3-2-13, New MAP Sensor 3-4-13, New Camshaft Sensor 3-4-13, New Oil Pressure Sensor 3-4-13, New Water Pump around a year ago, New Spark Plugs, Ignition Coils and Battery around 2 years ago. Mechanical Problems Recently I noticed my Oil Pressure dropping, Idle would drop and she would stall. So I replaced the Oil Pressure Sensor and she is now keeping pressure. The problem is I had to remove the Distributor in order to get to the Oil Pressure Sensor and then the Timing was off. Found TDC or at least as close as I can get but still idling too low. She always ran a little rough and that doesn't bother me but the idling low does. Start her up now and I smell exhaust and like she isn't getting enough fuel. Think it may be the fuel injector or O2 sensor (all are cheap if you do it yourself). I am a 33 year old women and I have always worked on stuff myself (if I could). Like I said I would love to keep her because overall she is in very good condition but I just need something smaller and better on gas.Clear Title.Delaware Inspected and Tagged until Sept 2014.
