Vehicle Detail

Highlights - Everything original, no accidents (not even minor scratch), Clean Orig Windshield (no 'speckles' against sun) - only Battery, Filters, Fluids & Front Axle Boots changed during required interval; relatively new Michelin Tires- Primacy MXV4 17inch on orig rims installed at the dealer. - Oil change every ~75K with Mobil 1 Extended (since 3000K); OEM Air Filter & Denso Cabin Air Filter Change during EVERY Oil Change; Air Filter clean approx every 3.5K. All tire balances & alignment fine tuning (car tuned to be neutral since we are calm drivers) performed by Dallas Frame & Alignment, it's best underbody tune-shop in Dallas. - Fed Only a diet of Mid-Super Chevron & Shell - Garage kept when not used during our 10 mile or 5 mile commutes (we have 3 other Outbacks including TWO 2013 Limited & ONE 2007 with even less mileage - e.g., our 2013 H6 is 8 months old with 4000 miles). Klasse AOI twice a year for paint protection plus 303 Protectant every 3 months for all trim. - Note before you hand over a check for the amt of purchase (minus deposit), I'll be more than happy to meet you at Subaru of Plano & you can have a Subaru mechanic to conduct a full vehicle inspection of your own...including check for prior vehicle damage & review my prior repair records (I've received a few sketics email inquiry about 'too good to be true' so I am adding this) & if any necessary repairs needs to be made, you can deduct it from the selling price of the car - that's how confident I am about our car! Extras - Engine Remote Start (Dealer Installed in 2012) - Window Tint (by one of the best tint shop in Plano, TX), we added the most Heat Reject 70%/Most Expensive Tint available (Huper Optik) for all windows other than the Windshield - Orig Warrenty Card Incl. - Car has winter package including 4 stage heated seats, FRONT WINDSHIELD Wiper Heater/Deicer, Side Mirror Deicer; AutoDim Rear Mirror/Compass + Homelink + trip computer, Tire Pressure Monitoring - Limited Slip Rear Differential (ACTIVE TORQUE AWD Automatic); this car never left the pavement - Factory Installed Shock Sensor (already installed when purchased new) - Insurance Institute for Hwy Safety BEST PICK! Some of the service records (for example): I have a majority of Original Receipt on hand: (all records of repair, User Guides (Remote Start, Homelink, etc) & warranty items are in a neat packet to be handed over upon sale) 10/12/09 (Oil Change with Own Oil - $0.00 WARR OIL CHANGE - NOTE All Subies has 2 yr complimentary oil change BUT on receipt you'll see me "customer has own oil"!) 5/26/10 (Oil Change With Own Oil - $0.00 WARR OIL CHANGE) 1/14/11 ($373.97 - Oil, Transmission, Coolant (Super Coolant); Front/Rear Differential OEM Synthetic) 12/13/11 ($102.33 - Inspection, Oil Chg & Tire Rotation) 7/27/12 ($574.64 - Oil Change, Brake Fluid Change & Front Inner Axle Boots Replacement) - note every Subies we owned have to have axle boots replaced around 45K since the boots are next to the engine block; the engine sits low next to ground. 6/1/12 ($694.09 - installed Remote Start at the Dealer) So what’s the catch, NONE! We've purchased another 2013 on a whim & need to get rid of an outback with the most mileage - although it's probably in better new condition due to all the synthetics put in, just broken in ready for next major service by 100K+. I have a pic showing 3 other Subies in the garage & BTW, NO we are NOT affiliated with Subarus at all; we just can't find a more practical car at any price Bluebook value $15846 at 49.5K miles WITHOUT the extras - shock sensor, BEST Tint & Remote Start (~$1500+ in value). Note I have reduce the reserve price to be $1750 BELOW the Bluebook value (at $14096.00) but opened up bidding by lower the starting price by $10000. The BUYNOW price is $750 above Bluebook value consider 50% depreciation on the extras - Note price is fair & I am not out to make a buck. I just need to get rid of it so we don't have to play checkers with parking 4 cars each night. :) Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. NO DEALER INQUIRES PLEASE. Thank you! Please refer to my selling’s rating, the rating includes 4 vehicles I’ve sold on Ebay Motors over the last 10 yrs (3 of the buyers flew in and one of the buyer sent a 'transporter' flatbed). Also to address a few questions about the characteristic of the car, to me, this particular car is possibility the best handling 8.4 inch ground clearence car on earth at the moment. Our 2013 are nicer, bigger but that also means I can't swerve around obstacles. I recall while we were traveling in KS doing 80mph on cruise, a pair of turtle dove landed in the middle of the highway, I swerved around it, came back to my own lane within a split second & never took the cruise off... one thumb driving & you need to drive it to believe it. FYI buyers remorse, my 2013 H6 is too head heavy & it's more sensitive to road crown, dodging potholes is no longer that easy. But if you have owned one of the 3rd Gen or 4th Gen Outbacks, you'll know seeing potholes bring a smile on your face...because the heavy duty suspension just soak it right up. If you live up North w/ lots of potholes...let's bid. ;) On Mar-20-13 at 15:31:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Tip for buying (at the same time answer a couple of ques) - when buying a car, to me the way the car was driven is probably the most important factor other than the current condition of the car/prior records of mtaintanence. To check, other than inspection of the supension components, look at the tires (if they are brand-new, you may have to watch out since the owner may have replaced them due to bad alignment/collision/bad driving habits), they should be worn evenly to indicate good driving habits. Driving down the road you shouldn't feel any sway, car should track DEAD STRAIGHT (& you are able to control the car w/ one thumb on the wheel); you should carry a feeling of supreme confidence (Confident In Motion - that's Subaru's slogan btw). Other than Subaru's safty rating, we originally picked Subaru (over let's say Toyota's flagships) mainly because Subaru has much better handling. On the highway there is little/no play with the steering wheel (anyone who owned a 4-Runner probably know what I mean by very busy playing with the steering wheel on the highway. :D). When we tuned the car, on a scale of 1-10 interms of aggresiveness, we've asked all of our cars to be tuned neutral at 5 (for toe/camber settings), this reflects our driving habit & also Texas's straight roads. On Mar-21-13 at 07:58:17 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to more questions regarding the Tint - it is Huper Optik Nono-Ceramics Stark 30 (most heat reject available) all around except the windshield. It is NOT dark/black but is darker grey in color therefore allow adequate light transmission, there is enough privacy in the rear but you are still able to see inside content up close. On Mar-22-13 at 08:08:52 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to a question regarding alignment & why we do it: please call Dallas Frame & Alignment (& ask for David/Svc Mgr or Vince), they will tell you I am the buy who brings in cars with less than 100 miles on them. Vince just worked on the Chicken Poo (that's what I call my wife's green car) Monday. The reason is that is NO CAR manufacture in the world can get the alignment right - why? Because 1) they don't know where the car will be sold (car to be driven in Colorado need to have setup different from car setup in Texas, and 2) my car buying experience tells me every car needs a little bit of fine tuning. Even if they have the alignment 'just about right', the steering wheel 99% of the time is off center. Tires can be ruied within a few hundred miles if alignment is incorrect. When I bought the 2013 H6, the car pulled to the right during the test drive...I didn't care because I went straight to DF&A & after 2 hrs of fine tuning to my needs, it is perfect. Tuning is much more than just camber/toe, it's solely based on experience! I've only found 2 places in the States that can do this type of underbody job - they are both in the not so good part of the neighborhood but has million dollars cars out front; a 200mph Cobra was in line Mon to get it aligned at the shop, to be operated on not by machine but by hand made tools. FYI most European cars are meant to be driven on autobaun w/ excessive negative toes, e.g., lots of Audi don't have adjustable rear cambers resulting in excessive wear. People in the cities wonder why their BMW's tires are toaste after less than 10K... For all of our cars, Alignment & Tire Balancing are the 2 items we do outside the dealer - because NO dealership can get it right! BTW, for tire balancing, next time ask your dealership when was the last time they calibriated their machines. :)On Mar-22-13 at 10:15:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Hopefully there will not be anymore questions, the bottomline, buying a car is MUCH more than just apperance, a shiny used vehicle off the dealer lot with 1 can of Armor splattered all over the car cannot tell you about the history of the buyer, his/her driving habit. A car driven hard may need to have its suspension components changed much sooner...worn balljoints, worn shocks, etc. Especially for Subarus since many people will take it offroad (because IT CAN!). A car driven by a sedated/calm driver may offer a better deal than a Brand New Car - like this one. We basically have worked all kinks out of this car, fine tune it & replenished all fluids, ensure all engine computers are up-to-date, ensure everything is in working order. Note my 2013 H6 had Check Engine & ATF light on at 90 miles due to a known computer error during break-in, it had to be put on a flatbed to the amazement of my neighbor. Bascially we've broken-in cars for the next owner... BTW I've used Mobil 1 since 1997 since going to Rutgers & at their engineering school, they did a test w/ absolutely zero wear (1/1000th of micron guaged) after 3000 miles on Mobile 1. I had a 94 Camry from new & sold it $1K above Bluebook when it was 190K... I basically replaced everything on the car other than the Transmission & Engine - both were on Mobil 1 & no kidding the car ran like a wild horse when I sold it!On Mar-22-13 at 13:38:24 PDT, seller added the following information: In addition to my response (below) regarding the comparison to a 2009 White Subaru Basic (where the Dealer falsely advertised as Outback (i)), I like to differentiate different models of 3rd Gen Outback. Basic is a very different car lacking the following (it's a stripped down totally manual car, I think Auto Trans maybe it's only option), for the (i) model, there is the following not found on the Basic Model: - All Weather Package with heated front seats with 4 settings, heated outside mirrors (power), and front wiper de-icer, Limited Slip rear axle, Fog Lights, Splash guards, 17" alloy wheels, 7 spoke, Power Outlets, 12v, adds cargo area outlety to the standard dashboard and center console, Power driver's seat, 8 way, Roof rails with cross bars, Rear cargo cover (my 2008 installed optional ARM REST EXTENDER) with a gate attachment, Brushed Silver Trim (with taupe and grey). Limited model basically adds more trimming stuff & more important, Auto Temp Control, Moonroof & Leather! On Mar-23-13 at 11:11:29 PDT, seller added the following information: To encourage final bidding, I've dropped both the Reserve Price & Buy Now price. The Reserve Price is now $1856.00 below Bluebook Value and the Buy Now price IS the Bluebook Value. On Mar-23-13 at 13:06:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Clarification (for info added above): New Reserve Price is NOW $13990.00.
