We have a nice 1971 Volkswagen Beetle with 90k miles that we have been using a fun car around the office. We oringally took the car in on a trade for a motorcycle we were selling and quicly feel in love with it so we kept it around! The only reason we are selling it is because we have a new Smart car coming in to replace this! It is powered by a smooth running 1.6L Motor and 4-Speed Manual Transmission! Inside the car is fitted with newer seats, and a nice original rear seat along with newer upholstery and headliner! The car overall is in nice shape, has newer wheels and tires on it. It has a custom fiberglass front and rear shell, reinforced frame, and 99% rust free! Overall the car is a nice solid one of a kind beetle, and a very great weekend car. With some little TLC it can easily become a daily driver!Pro's-1971 VW Beetle Coupe-4-Speed Manual Transmission-4-Cylinder Motor (very easy to work on)-99k Miles on odometer (as far as we know this is actual, but we cannot guarentee this)-Custom Fiberglass Front and Rear Shell -Rust Free-Nice Red Paintjob-Head lights/Tail lights work great-Wipers work most of the time-Newer Seats-Orginal Rear Seat-Newer Uplholstery-Newer Rims-Newer Tires-Overall Uniques looking vehicle!Con's-Drips a little oil like every VW-Speedo/Odo are not working-Windows go almost to the top, but do not close 100%-Little Chips/stress marks around the body-I have personally not exprienced this, but two of my employees have stated the back wheel feels like it has some play at speeds of 70mph+-None of us know how to operate the blower motor, nor even locate where it is or the e-brake are-There are a couple things that I might be forgetting, but overall these are the major ones that I can think of! VERY IMPORTANT: All Inspections, Test Drives, etc MUST be done before the auction ends. DO not bid if you do not feel comfortable buying this car! We are selling it AS/IS, with no warranty at all!
