This is a c6500 that was a dump truck. Well time took it's toll on the dump body and it was removed and the rear end moved forward and the chassis was cut shorter to fit the dually bed. a frame was made to hold the bed even with the body lines on the cab and now we have "super pick up"! It has a 6 cylinder turbo diesel 3116 catapiler motor that run's perfect with only 120,000 miles. The 6 speed manual shifts smooth both up and down through the gears. The truck has alcoa wheels not great but the tires are in very good shape. The brakes all work even the abs system is working as it should. There is power window and power locks and they work and the a/c holds a charge for the season if you hit it in the spring. The truck still has it's pto setup on the chassis and could very easy be a tow truak, dump truck whatever you can think of or just have the pick up that can carry anything you want. The truck has been on several trips recently one as long as 3 hours one way so it does run well and gets 17 mpg on the highway. I am selling off a few of my vehicles to lighten my insurance costs so lets see if anyone has interest in this one.
