1961 Chevy Biscayne 2 Door Post Solid Show/Driver 350 Chevy crate motor, 290 hp, HEI Ignition, approximately 10k miles. 700 R4 Transmission and tranny cooler with overdrive, Sanderson headers, Edelbrock Manifold and carb with electric choke. Engine runs great! Smooth and somewhat quiet with the newer full length exhaust. Car is lowered with all new suspension items, shocks, springs, bushings, tubular A-arms. Power steering is tight and responsive (no play), power brakes include front disc's and rear drums. American Racing Rims with 225/55 R-16 tires all the way around with approximately 50% tread life left. Motor and tranny rarely leaks a of drop of anything. Car runs cool, all gauges and indicators work as they should EXCEPT clock and dome light. Radio is a modern retro look AM/FM IPOD/MP3 tuner 200 watt with dash speakers for newer radio in stock spot. Stock radio (AM) and speaker are included. Exterior Paint is stunning, no body filler, no orange peel, no dents or knicks! Only chips noted are below valance of front license plate. Has 2 small pencil eraser size paint bubbles in front of both rear wheels where body curves under car. Virtually unseen. Chrome is great. Just spent $400 to rechrome/polish original headlight bezels. A couple of bumper end pieces could stand to be rechromed in years to come. No rust or pitting. 2 tailights installed in trunk lid are inop-for asthetic purposes only. Could be hooked up again if desired. Doors open and close as they should. No sagging. All glass is good. Windows roll up and down with ease. Interior Shows well with no rips or tears. Finshed in teal and white with beige/tan carpeting and door panels. Dash is outstanding with no knicks or blemishes-repainted last summer. Tilt steering. Trunk is completely finished with spare included. This car is favorite at all shows due to its rarity. You can drive it anywhere. Finished second place in 2 categories in last car show taken to last summer: owners choice and peoples choice. Ask ALL questions prior to bidding.
