The motor runs surprisingly well and it sounds really awesome with the new dual exhaust that runs straight out the back without any smoke or any strange noises and it shifts thru the gears as it should with no problems and it runs down the road very nice as it has received all four new tires and many new front suspension parts like new end links and front torsion bar bushings lower control arms and ball joints so the front end is like new and the brakes are new also so it stops really well even though it is 4-wheel drum The overall appearance of this car is very nice. It has received all new interior from the carpet to door panels.arm rests, window cranks and seat covers and the original dash pad and steering wheel have no cracks in them so the interior shows like new. All of the lights work and it does have a aftermarket am/fm/cassette radio under the dash . The temp guage does not work but I think that is probably just the sending unit but the other gauges work as they should. Now the body is pretty nice also but it has had some work done to it in the past as you might expect from any 48 year old car but the work is minimal from what I have found. It has a little filler behind the doors but in front of the rear wheel openings. Some of the chrome has pitting in the finish like the uprights on the side glass edges so don’t expect perfect chrome just letting you know, Now the all important underbody of the car especially with a convertible is solid(see pics) but at some point somebody added there version of frame connecters and it looks like they might of did some patch work on the rear floor boards but if they did they used original floor boards from another car because it looks so good. Now the convertible top is in really good condition with no rips or loose seams and the rear window is clear with no fogging around the edges and it also has a new top boot for when the top is down and the power top works flawlessly it goes up and down with no help just remember when you put the top up you have to lower the side windows a little bit so the top seals get behind the windows. I think the color combo with this car is one of the nicest combos that was available at the time with white ext and with red int makes it just pop.
