I have for sale a rare 1972 Honda AZ600 Coupe. These are one of the most unique cars ever built. I remember looking at them and wanting one when I was a teenager back in the 70's. I test drove one at the time, and absolutely fell in love with it. At the time I could not afford to purchase it, but always wanted one. This car is fresh out of the garage where it had been sitting for many years. I bought it to restore, but I am having to move, and losing my garage space, so my loss is your gain. The car is in fairly good condition compared to a lot of the ones you see for sale. The body is decent, the floorpans look good. The glass is in excellent condition, with the windows rolling up and down easily. The dash is excellent (no cracks at all), which is rare for one of these cars. The door panels are very nice. The interior is not too bad, just a couple of tears in the seat that have been taped up, and some aftermarket carpeting that was installed. It only has 40,000 miles showing on the odometer, which I was told was the actual mileage, but I have no documentation of such. It comes with the spare tire, jack, and the original tool kit still in it. The fuel tank has been drained, and cleaned, and a new fuel filter installed. The car will start and run, but only runs for a few seconds. I had a very good mechanic I know tell me it probably needs the carburetor cleaned, or possibly rebuilt. (the carburetor rebuild kit is readily available online), but I did not have the time to get around to it, before I found out that I have to move, and will not have a place to keep the car. I did purchase a brand new correct battery for the vehicle, and like I said, it will start and run for a short time. The engine seems to be fine when it is running. As I said, it has been sitting in a garage for quite awhile, so it will need to be checked over mechanically before it can be driven. I know it will need brakes, etc. It comes equipped with the overhead console, and an AM/FM factory radio that lights up. I think it may need a new speaker to work. Most of the lights work. The guages seem to work, the wipers, and the horn all work. It would not take a lot to restore this car back to it's original glory. There are only about 800 of these cars still in existence, and this one is fairly nice for one of the coupes that needs to be restored. I wanted to restore it so badly, but I will not be able to do so. Restored, these cars are bringing a lot of money. One just brought $27,500 at a Barrett Jackson auction. They are only going to go up in value, as they keep getting more and more rare everyday. It is a great investment. The car will come with a bill of sale only. If you are the winning bidder on the car, I will need a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the auction end, and the remainder of the payment within 7 days of the auction end. The car will need to be picked up within 14 days, as I have stated, I will be moving, and have nowhere to store it. Payment needs to be in the form of cash, cashier's check, or bank transfer. The car will only be released once the funds have cleared. Please do not bid, unless you plan to follow through with the purchase of the vehicle. I would love to keep it and restore it, but I can only hope that one day I will find another one when the timing is good for me.
