This truck is special. I am third owner. First was a ford motor corp regional rep. He ordered it XLT reg cab short box. It was a rare used recreation vehicle for him. When it hit around 30k I believe, old boy that sold me truck bought it from original owner. Said it was all there except one side of the truck suffered UV damage from facing east where it was parked. So 2ndowner had it repainted. When I bought her, she was on jack stands under a cover in old boy's garage. 77k original miles. I paid 9000.00 for her and have easily dropped another 3 or four grand on her after she was mine. I drove her for the 4 of the last 5 years as a daily driver. She still runs tip top. I bought a work truck so I could stop putting miles on the 77. I now have to sell it to make ends meet and am not happy about it. Plusses- Exhaust, Brakes, Alarm, A/C redone, Topper,33" Bf goodrich tires on Aluminum Wheels, Factory 2 barrel Motorcraft Carb, ALL new within last three years. Battery-1month old. I serviced it right on time, Hasn't been in accident to my knowledge. All Factory labels under hood are in good shape and present. Electric Fuel pump. Bumpers look almost brand new. Silver roof over cab to reflect heat. ALL trim in decent shape. Can be reused.New Power Steering Pump w/lines Tach and racing guages Push bars, all doors align. Sounds real beefy, not super loud, but you can tell its a v8. Dana equipped. Motor should have ever needed Minuses- The truck has been outside for the last 4/5 years. The paint is showing UV wear. Rust through over rear wheels and a couple spots smaller than a dollar on hood. There is a spot on driver side door that my brothers ladder-rack on his truck put a fairly nasty ding next to the exterior handle, the autobody fixed and painted...looked great until it cracked due to door shutting. She has minor little kwirks like the interior dome light is intermittent. Little Rip in the bench seat vinyl, dash has a couple cracks even though it was under a dash mat. Ext trim needs a little finish attention-black stripe faded etc. PLEASE I've got it listed on Craigsl. site for 6500.00. Im fixing everything I know it needs U joint Power steering lines Reattatch wiper blade drivers side linkage Some dash reassembly (wipers under dash) Alarm needs install tune up. Whe this all is done I will be asking 7000.00 She is worth every penny. Not a basket case by any means. Ready for someone handy and the indoors. Thanks
