Not all dream cars are created equally... Available for sale is my one of a kind 1996 Dodge Viper GTS in excellent condition with some very rare modifications. Florida Adult Collector owned, always garaged, with only 18k original miles on the odometer. I have enjoyed owning and driving this car for three amazing years and it is finally time for a new owner to enjoy her as I have a new project in mind and just don't have time to drive the car. I bought this car in Miami three years ago from an exotic car collector who put an amazing amount of time and money into the car and then never drove it while he was busy racing Ferraris. I have the names and phone numbers of everyone who was involved in the building and modification of the car as well as the previous owners who are all still fanatical about the car. I have a complete service history on the car since owning it. I also have a copy of the previous Ebay auction where the car was originally posted when I discovered it and bought it. After owning the car for about ten years the previous owner decided to create a street version of the Viper ORECAGTS-R racecars that won the 24 hours at Daytona and Lemans. The previous owner went to great lengths to find actual parts used by the racing team and built a truly breathtaking combination of looks, uniqueness, reliability, power, and handling. All of the work performed and the parts used are the very best money can buy. The amount of money and work spent to make this Viper the best of all worlds is ridiculous. The result is an extremely easy to drive 600+ horsepower naturally aspirated GTS with a very smooth power curve and none of the reliability and complication issues of turbo and super charged cars. As opposed to some of the boosted GTS's I have ridden in, this car will not try to kill you every time you get in and barely touch the gas which is important if you plan to enjoy the car and not just have it sit in your garage. Here is my best attempt at a list of modifications to the car: Engine was pulled out and refreshed, blue printed, compression raised (motor is made to run on pump gas, it was made for the street). Ported and polished heads with bigger valves. T&D Roller Rockers. Mopar Performance Oil Pan (From ACR). Complete B&B Stainless Exhaust System including headers and thermal wrapped in key areas to reduce heat - there is no cabin heat issue unlike other GTS cars because of the way this was done. AEM Engine Management System - allows complete control over tuning by anyone with AEM tuning expertise. I also have the AEM USB cable and the AEM software is a free download from their website. Carbon Fiber Individual Throttle Body Intake System directly from the Lemans winning Team ORECA which provides absolutely lightning fast throttle response and amazing top end performance to compliment the Viper's low end torque. Matching Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System. Rear End Gear Changed (I believe to 3:90) which is an absolutely amazing modification all by itself. It makes the GTS's horribly long gears much shorter. This helps take advantage of the higher RPM capabilities, makes 6th gear useable, and brings the ratios closer together to make a much better driving experience. B&M Ripper Short Shifter - takes the slack out of the flabby stock shifter and makes the car much more fun to shift. Shifter is not tough or stiff at all and is very easy to live with. MGW Polished Short Shift Knob. MGW Polished Eject Button Cigarette Lighter - one of my favorite modifications and always gets some good comments at the shows. MGW Polished Oil Dipstick Handle. MGW Viper Polished License Plate Frame with matching GTS Blue Emblem. Sony Bluetooth, Satellite Radio, MP3, AM/FM, CD Player. Sirius Satellite Radio Box. Pioneer components in the front and matching Pioneer components in the rear with all new speaker wiring. Updated Viper Key FOB (newer rounded style is much less bulky). Shumacherse-1-12S Battery Tender/Charger/Maintainer. HRE Polished 3 piece light weight aluminum racing wheels that were custom made for this car. Michelin Pilot Sport Tires with plenty of tread left. Eibach Lowering Springs - car does not ride rough at all with this setup and is surprisingly easy to live with. Eradispeed two piece big brake rotors. Hawk High performance street pads. Probably more that I can't think of right now When I bought this car it was truly a life time accomplishment for me personaly. It was literaly the car I had always dreamed of and actually turned out to be better than I ever imagined. This car was my hard work that paid off. The cool thing about this car is that valets will move Ferrari's out of the way to put this car out front and I have never driven the car without scores of kids and adults staring as I drive by. It is not unusual to come back to the parking lot and find people posing by it and taking pictures. Even better, it is reliable enough that I took it on the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour where it was featured and that is where a lot of my miles came from. Forget about opening the hood in public unless you've got some time on your hands because nobody has seen anything like it and everybody will want to know more about it.
