1973 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super 10 short bed pick up. This truck is, in my opinion, a time capsule. I’m not saying it’s a show truck, but this is the way the truck was in 1973 and is quite original. The truck was bought new at Newton Chevrolet in Chattanooga, TN by my uncle’s father who was the original and only owner of the truck until I bought it from him. I know the history on the truck and have all the documentation and build sheet, I even have the original title. It is a matching numbers truck. The motor has not been tampered with other than general maintenance and tune up. It is original 307 with original 350 transmission. It has factory A/C, but it is not working at present. The belt is not on the A/C, I have not checked out the A/C system to see what it needs to get in working order, but do know the clutch on the compressor is not seized up. I just serviced the transmission and had to replace the modulator valve. The carburetor was just rebuilt before I got the truck. Interior is like new except one little split on the dash by the dash radio. The radio was not working and has been replaced with a new aftermarket radio. I still have the original radio. New speakers were also installed behind the seat with the radio. The seat had one seam on the driver’s side that was starting to come apart, so I took it to an upholstery shop to have repaired. The in dash clock is not operating. Headliner is loose, but secured. Carpet is original. The body is near perfect, there are a few scratches and dents. The paint is original. It has never been repainted or wrecked. Inside the bed is in very good condition. Both front and rear bumpers are like new. The grill is perfect and has the original hub cabs on wheels.
