1998 BMW Z3, 98k miles runs and drive perfect. It is  very clean for a 1998, never beat on and still running on original clutch. The transmission shift nice and tight, engine runs very good, no leak, no noises. The previous owner was a retired engineer who take very good care of his cars. It was a pleasure car which only driven on nice weather days and weekends. The recent maintainance that were done to the car was the infamous expansion tank on these 1.9L engine, it was leaking so he replaced it with a brand new unit along with a new radiator. Another common problem with all Z3s are the seats rocking back and forth, which was also fixed. The rear sub-frame was checked out and does not show any stress crack. The top was also replaced last year. Interior is very much original and shown very little wear on driver seat, no rip or cut. Dash board and all the panels are in really good shape. The body is in exceptional shape, it is not in perfect condition by any means. It is a 15 year old car so it does have some scratches, and some paint blemish/rock chips on front bumper. However, it does not have any dent on the body, the paint is still shine and the car still look very good with that wet looking black paint. The car runs and drive beautifully, engine is very rev-happy 4-cylinder, it still pulls hard to redline, suspension is nice and tight, no noises. All electronic device works wonderfully, power heated seats work perfect as well as Radio and 6CD changer mounted in the trunk. The convertible top is manually operated, this particular Z3 does not equipped with power top which prone to failure (i've had 3 Z3 in the past and 2 of them have bad power top motor). The car is very fun to drive, very good handling and very responsive. But the best thing besides the fun part, it will get 28mpg in city and 32mpg on the freeway. When i acquired the car, I did a little preventative maintainance so the next owner does not need to do anything to the car but just get in and drive. I replaced the spark plugs with Bosch Iridium plugs, clean throttle body and Maf sensor, Air filter replaced with OEM Mann filter, valve cover gasket, New front rotors and dust-free brake pads. The rear brake still have a lot of life left i decided not to touch it. Tires are all matching 225/50/16 also in good shape with about 70% life left. All weather stripping still in very good shape, and does not need to be replaced. As you can see in the photos, all the BMW roundle emblems are bad except for the hood emblem, well, they are in the mail and by the time the auction end, i should have it on the car. I can show the car to potential buyer and will answer any questions you might have.
