1981 Suzuki GS

I have a 1981 Suzuki GS450t that I just finished rebuilding. It runs absolutely phenomenally! The motor on it is in beautiful condition and it shifts incredibly. I literally JUST got back from taking it out for testing and tuning and I was NOT expecting it to be this good. It has great throttle responsiveness, it handles very well, and the suspension was very good as well. It has 11,400 original miles and just to put that in perspective that's only 350 miles per year, so this thing was well taken care of. I did strip it down, make sure everything was in good working condition and not going to go out any time soon. I touched up the black on the frame to give it a nice clean look, and I painted it red to make it clean up nice and still look sporty. It is a 6 speed, so it gets VERY good mileage. The previous owner claimed over 60 MPG on the highway, which with the 6th gear, I find very believable. The instrument cluster is original. They worked perfectly and I saw no reason to change them. It has indicators that tell you when you're in neutral, when you're in gear and what gear you're in. It tells you if your blinkers are on, and all the blinkers and lights work great. Honestly, there is nothing wrong with this bike. I would ride this across the country and not even break a sweat worrying about it. Thank you for looking!
