Hello, up for bids is a 1986 TRX 250R with a 1986 CR500 engine professionally installed by a fab shop. The engine came out of a 1986 CR500, this year made the most power and has the more desirable wide-ratio transmission for more top end speed. The engine was rebuilt with new crank bearings and seals, new rod, new wiseco piston and bore job (.040 over) and the cylinder has trail porting done by Lake Motorsports in Waterford Michigan. The transmission was totally gone through and parts were replaced as needed. It has a brand new clutch installed in it. It has a V-force reed cage with new pedals last season and a brand new Eddie Sanders Racing 41.2mm PWK Keihin carburetor. It has a custom made aluminum airbox with a uni-filter in it. New chain and sprockets, chrome 3" extended swingarm with new carrier bearings. Rebuilt rear shock. ASV clutch lever and Renthal grips. The motor mounts were made out of chromoly and are bolt in and fit very nice. The pipe is a custom made 2-piece design and is a mid-range pipe. It has a FMF turbine core silencer also. This bike starts in about 2 or 3 kicks usually and runs very well. Yes it does vibrate but I have ridden it all day at Silver Lake without any trouble. Its pretty fast and is a TOURQUE MONSTER! Beats pretty much everything at Silver Lake except for the drag banshees. The nice thing about it is that its still very lightweight, the CR500 engine is only 10lbs heavier then the 250R engine, so it still jumps very nice. I have well over $4500 in this bike , I've always wanted to build one and now that I have its time to move on to other projects. Call me at 419-464-4899 with any questions.
