You are bidding on a 1978 Honda Goldwing GL1000. I bought it last week from the second owner who owned it for twenty years. He made a few cross country trips on the bike over the years. It has always been garaged. It has not been used much in the past three years. It is a very clean Goldwing. Paint still has great shine. Seat is in excellent shape. Tires are in good shape. There is no rust in the gas tank, but the gas is a little old, so I would recommend flushing or draining it. I put a new battery in it last week. I started it up yesterday and it would only run on full choke but after it warmed up it was able to run with no choke and it idled nicely. I let it run for about 35 minutes to make sure that the cooling fan came on and it did. Besides draining the fuel, I would definitely recommend changing the plugs and fluids prior to driving it, as you can still smell the old gas when it is running. Choke, throttle, brakes and lights all work. Shifts fine. The old stereo still works. It has a Windjammer fairing. I have the hard bags and trunks that go with it, plus the headlight and headlight bucket if you want to remove the fairing. Bike has a clear title and comes with the original owners manual and tool kit. Again, a very nice Goldwing, hard to find in this condition. No Reserve!
