We have a 1995 Mercedes Benz sl 500 up for no reserve auction. This sl has a lot of miles on it, but it still looks fantastic inside and out. It runs and drives just fine, the suspension feels tight as do the brakes and steering. No excess play. The motor runs well and the transmission shifts into all gears. The speedometer intermittently works. The exhaust is good and has that nice mercedes v8 sound. The interior is clean and comfortable. No rips or tears in the upholstery, the door handle wood trim has peeled off but it still looks ok. The convertable top is working and does not seem to have any leaks. The tires are all matching and have very good tread life remaining. The A/C system could use a recharge, the air doesn't get very cold. All lights and signals are working. The car comes with original books and a few dealer service records. One key. This is still a great looking body that has no rust and glossy paint. Looks great driving and sitting still. selling AS-IS/WHERE-IS, with NO warrenties. You are buying a used vehicle, all vehicles will eventually need some maintenace work.
