1967 Mustang Fastback SHOW IT, DRIVE IT, ENJOY IT…AN AWESOME MUSTANG FASTBACK My name is John. Please call me at 801-680-8447 with any questions This is a beautifully restored example of 1967 Mustang Fastback in remarkable condition. It runs great, drives great, looks great, and the attention it gets is extreme! No Disappointments: This Fastback is a great investment and a fun car to drive and enjoy. From the engine compartment to the trunk and everywhere in between, this is a clean car. The following will be a description of each area of the car, being as in-depth and accurate as possible. Please keep in mind that this is a classic car that is over 46 years old, and although I will describe everything as best I can, some small items may have been overlooked. BODY: As you can see from the photos, this Mustang has an absolute gorgeous body. In 2003, the car was media blasted to bare metal and professionally painted in the white that you see now. A high-quality prep and application was professionally performed, with no over-spray or orange peel. The paint was then professionally buffed to a high gloss mirror finish and has held up very well for a 10-year old paint job. There is no rust bubbling anywhere on the outside body panels. The underside is all original sheet metal, with great frame rails, strong torque boxes and undercarriage. The driver rear floor pan is a little soft and should be replaced. There is a small 2x3 patch on the driver rear drop-off. There is a touched up paint chip about the size of a nickel next to the drivers door handle. The panels on this car show great fit and are straight. I would rate it a solid driver quality paint and body 8 out of 10. INTERIOR: · The interior is professionally restored in 2003 with all new soft trim including: · Upholstery · Dash Pad · Door Panels · Headliner · Carpeting · Original 6 Grand Tach · Tripometer · Fold Down Rear Seat · Electric Antenna ENGINE / MECHANICS: The 289 310 HP engine has been professionally rebuilt. There is less than 8000 miles on the rebuilt engine and 4 speed transmission. The car runs strong and fast. There are no fluid leaks, or smoke. The driver rear tire will need to be replaced due to a bulge in the tire that causes a leak. · Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold · Air filter · Aluminum Valve Covers · Edelbrock 600 cfm carb · The original carb and intake is also included in this auction if you would like to take the car back to original. · Magnum 500 Wheels This Fastback starts at the flick of the key and runs strong and smooth. The car tracks straight and brakes straight, has good steering response and a nice ride. The 4-Speed transmission shifts very responsive and smooth. The engine compartment is clean, and detailed. Front drum brakes and rear drum brakes. Suspension and is firm and responsive to the touch. The car runs and drive like new. Fly in and drive home this mechanically sound automobile. TRUNK: The trunk area is very clean, detailed, and looks great. There is not even a hint of rust. A new trunk mat would finish off the trunk. No issues here, the pictures of the car speak for themselves. OVERALL: The car of course gets lots of looks, it's really what I'd call the perfect collector car: a super desirable 1967 Mustang Fastback that is a super nice driver with a 2003 restoration. This car is mechanically sound and runs fantastic. The title is free and clear in my hand.
