Vehicle Detail

0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false I'm gettin' hitched. I am a former mechanic, selling my 1964 Ford Fairlane 6cyl. 200 3.3 liter single barrel carb. Vehicle ID: 54A Z 14 26L 41 4 year restoration--in storage for more than a year. I began with the major systems: ignition, engine, fuel and brake, removed rotted carpet, headliner and insulation (I have a roll of brand new insulation). Performance radiator, thermostat, carb. brakes, fuel pump, filter, fuel lines, new head and valve cover gaskets and seal, PCV valve, (I'm including a spare chrome valve cover) distributor (2yrs old), plugs and wires, starter, starter cable, starter solenoid, battery, batt. cables, fuel tank (fissure was welded, interior cleaned, re-lined) Trunk seal/gasket, name plates, side mirror, wipers, lettering, steering wheel, turn signal cam. I'll throw in all spare parts, (model specific) engineering manual, my creeper, floor jack and stands as well... I won't waste your time: Runs STRONG but an electrical issue (bad ground or component) has her temporarily off the road. Needs rear floor repair (I have steel sheeting included) Crack in the windshield (has never expanded-no leak) wiring harness (I have brand new harness, fuse panel and components) exhaust (I have brand new-in box-Smithy's glass pack, exhaust manifold gasket and bolts); the interior is fair condition because the prior owner had big dog--bench seats need work. I was gonna do those last with top coat of paint. I've run out of time and money for restoration--looking for starter money toward a place. Selling locally, so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime without penalty. This is a solid deal for any father-son or grandfather-son project, or someone looking to finish up a classic car. SERIOUS inquiries only. FOR PICK UP; I won't arrange shipping. The kid and the Harley are not for sale.
