Vehicle Detail

This is a low mileage Honda CB350 four cylinder with only 6420 miles. A friend had this one and offered it to me. I'm retired & trying to quit restoring motorcycles, but this one was just too tempting. It was the perfect candidate for the Cafe treatment, and since I love shaping metal (been doing it for about 20 years), this was a fun project. The bike is light enough & low enough to be really easy to ride for anyone, and has a fantastic sounding engine. Riding it makes you feel like you are setting speed records without actually exceeding the speed limits. More importantly, it has a great Cafe Racer style while being set up to ride comfortably rather than just look good on display. You can even show off at the local hangout by kickstarting it, if you don't want to hit the electric start button while those classic Norton & Triumphs endure their starting rituals. It starts easy, runs great, and shifts smoothly. Everything works on the bike. If you love plastic, this one is not for you. This has been built for those who appreciate traditional custom metalwork and want something no one else has. I designed & built the fly screen, fender, seat pan/cowl, and the side panels in polished aluminum. The fuel tank was in good shape except for rust inside. Since I wanted to reshape the sides anyway, I cut them out and did a proper cleaning of the interior, then shaped and TIG welded in new sides. New parts: Michelin tires turn signals black handlebars mirrors 4 in 1 exhaust system polished velocity stacks (w/screens) tail light lighted license plate holder battery spark plugs oil & filter brake master cylinder kit The hinge & latch hardware from the original seat was fitted to the custom seat pan, so it locks & opens like it should to reveal the battery, original tool kit & storage compartment. I built this bike to please myself & have accomplished that goal, but I need to slow down and cut way back on my motorcycle collection, so this goes to the highest bidder. Good luck. I'll be happy to answer any questions, and help load it for the owner or shipper. I have a clear Texas title in my name for this Honda. Get ready for the spring vintage shows & meets!
