Vehicle Detail
This car is well maintained with some upgrades. It has new leather on the seats, 6 way power sport seats, with lumbar adjustment, 2K polished aluminum wheels, K&N 2 filter intake, Corsa stainless exhaust, ported throttle body, new radiator, new front brakes, new water pump, new belts, drilled slotted rotors, red calipers, tires have less than 5K on them, new turn signal switch. The 12 cd machine in the trunk. I bought a spare tire and jack that I carry in the car, since it don't have run flats. NJ state inspection valid til 1/14. Mobil 1 oil change about 300 miles ago. New transaxle fluid, 1K ago. New battery and new oil sending unit within last 15 months. The car was in a low speed fender bender this past August. It was hit on the right front wheel. It was repaired at a body shop certified for corvette repair. The frame was not bent or damaged. The wheel, fender, front bumper and most of the suspension on the right front was replaced. The front end was realigned and it runs straight and vibration free. When I got the car back I noticed a few drips of antifreeze on the garage floor, so the body shop put in a new radiator. The hood, front fenders and bumper all have new paint. This car was safe in my dry garage during Hurricane Sandy There are some issues. There is a dinging noise in the drive train, under heavy acceleration. The previous owner was worried about is so he bought a torque tube out of a 20,000 mile 2K vette that was hit by a tree. It will go with the car. The front engine seal drips a little, the trans. drips a little, the fuel gauge only works down to 1/2 tank then goes to zero so I use the trip odometer to see when I need gas. I have new sensors to go with the car, I just never got the time to install them. Every 3 months the AC needs a can of freon. There are some minor scratches here and there. For it's age this is a very nice car. I drive it to work 16 highway miles each way once or twice a week and it averages 24 mpg! It is a great running car, and a real looker!!!!
