I am selling my 1966 Chrysler Imperial Crown, VIN number YM23J63121195 I purchased this car last year off of eBay and have put about 7 thousand miles on it since. The car starts and drives down the road pretty well for its age. It looks like it spent most of its life in California, I have a lot of receipts from over the years and they are from Santa Monica area and old registrations from Topanga Ca. The 440 was rebuilt at 45504 miles at GT Automotive in Los Angeles Ca. on 1-21-2010, it still has plenty of power and acceleration, it does need a tune up for it runs a little uneven. I think it’s in the carburetor, it does not have a miss just runs uneven. I have purchased a headlight switch but have never had time to install it, the headlights come on but the switch is bad so you have to wiggle it to keep them on. I took the heater core down to the local radiator shop and they are putting a new core it for me, it will be included with this sale. I cannot find any rust underneath the car, floors or trunk, the car looks real good. The paint is ok, not perfect but looks good. It is painted a satin black, the door jambs and under the hood is painted but the trunk is still the original color. The leaf springs are week and will need replaced, the air shocks on the back are new and so are the front shocks. The inside looks real good, no rips on the headliner, seats or dash. It looks like the dash pad has been replaced and maybe the headliner. The top of the rear side panel is torn, it looks like someone had a dog in the car and they scratched it down to metal, this is the only bad spot that I can see inside. I am not sure of the correct mileage of the car. Other than that the pictures tell the rest of the story. I may have missed something so I encourage you to come check it out before bidding on it, everyone has a different opinion about what is in good shape and what is not, my opinion may not be the same as yours.
