This 2008 Dodge Caliber R/T AWD has been well taken care of since it was purchased in 2009. The car runs flawlessly. The interior and exterior are very clean and feature the surf blue exterior color on the upholstery and interior trim. This Caliber features the upgraded audio system by Boston Acoustic that has no equal for a factory system.. It even has fold-out speakers on the rear hatch for some extra fun. The front seats are heated and the glove compartment has a cooling/heating compartment for beverages This car is very spacious. It can fit 5 adults comfortably with a large amount of room left over in the back for luggage. With the seats folded down we were able to fit a full-sized dryer in the back without issues and plenty of room to spare. This is essentially a cross-over that came out before people started calling them crossovers.This is the R/T so you get the 2.4L inline-4 connected to a CVT, sending the power to all four wheels along with 4-wheel disk brakes w/ ABS, a sport tuned suspension, and a sport steering system. This means that you always have the power you need, it's always in the right gear, you always have the grip to use it, and you will have fun doing it all. During the occasional bit of bad weather, we have been able to drive comfortably on the road alongside only a select few 4x4 trucks that where able to make it out as well. Although you would think that the 2.4L would be a little thirsty being quite the large inline-4 engine, we have gotten 31mpg almost every time we have taken I-10 for multi-day road trips. The CVT relay does its job by providing the power when you want it with the most fuel economy you can get, it even has a select-shift mode that can let you play around like you have a manual if you want.Again, the car is in phenomenal shape. It has had oil changes either done by myself or Firestone every 3K miles and has been running on full synthetic since 20k miles without a single issue. This car does not have a single mechanical fault and this power-train is known for its supreme reliability. The interior and exterior are immaculate and have been cared for since 2010 with FW1 car-care products, these are the same car care products that are used around the world to preserve classic cars - simply the best.This car is the perfect all-rounder. It has the cargo capacity of an SUV, the fuel economy of a sub-compact, and the performance of something much more expensive. If you need one car to fill all your needs than this is it.
