Vehicle Detail
1966 Ford Mustang *Original 289 V8*Holley 4 barrel carb *RARE Factory front bench seat*Automatic C-4 Trans*Magnum 500 wheels*White Letter Radials*Power Steering*PERFECT RESTORATION CANDIDATE!! Thanks for looking! Up for sale is my '66 Ford mustang. This mustang comes optioned with things such as, a strong running 289 V8 4V, a rare factory front bench, c-4 automatic transmission & power steering The factory black interior of this pony is in ok overall condition. The dash has been replaced and looks good. The radio on this mustang has been taken out and has a hole cut in the dash but a patch panel from NPD will be included in the sale. The carpet on this mustang is beginning to fade and should probably be replaced if a full restoration is done. The headliner of the vehicle appears to have been replaced very recently and looks great. The factory bench seat looks to be the original one. The cluster bezel looks to be new as well as the glove box door. All seating surfaces are in good condition. The Headliner on the car is nice and tight and looks to have been replaced recently. NOTE ** if the bench seat isnt for you, I also have a pair of mustang bucket seats that will come with the car for the selling price ( SEE PHOTOS). The paint on this mustang is not in A-1 condition and if it were to have a restoration done, it would need new paint. The good news is that there doesnt appear to be much rust on the body with the exception of the front lower corners of both doors ( Minor bubbling). The exterior can easily be left the way it is but in order to be the show stopper she could be, it would need some love. Exterior trim is in good condition , very minor pitting in areas. The underside of this car is in great original condition, only surface rus, No Holes. This vehicle has been in the dry Texas climate most of its life and it definitely shows. Bushings do show signs of being dry, but honestly, the car drives well, not squeaks, shakes or rattles. I have briefly gone through the mechanics of this mustang and everything checks out ok. Engine runs with no smoke or overheating, trans shifts well, lights are all functional. I do however encourage inspections. The underside of the body, although not in A-1 condition is ok, there is minor bubbling in the front toe rails but the rest seems to be ok with only surface rust. This Ford Mustang is a fine example of American Muscle History. She is a proven driver and is also a perfect candidate for a restoration. Please dont expect a car thats ready for shows, because she will need restoration and she is priced accordingly, but dont miss this opportunity to own her!! Ive tried to represent this car as honestly as possible , but , as always, inspections are welcome and encouraged. Call today with any questions prior to bidding. Thanks again for looking and good luck bidding!! International bidders are welcome and I will assist with shipping. 305-525-1731. *** LOW RESERVE ***On Feb-15-13 at 16:21:34 PST, seller added the following information: Please disreguard the paragraph about the car being from Texas, it was an editing error and I do apologize for any confusion.
