Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 1968 Buick Sport Wagon. It is a virtually untouched true survivor car from Washington State & is very straight, extremely solid and all original. floors & trunk are very solid as is the sheet metal all around. All doors open/close as they should and gaps are very tight. All windows roll up & down as they should with the exception of the tailgate window. (Bad Connection or ground to window motor or switch?) vent windows open/close as they should. All glass is good *windshield has crack* It will need a patch on the passenger fender & another small patch on passenger side quarter, as well as seat covers, carpet, and headliner. Door panels carpet at bottom could use replacement, however panels may clean up and be re-used. Note: Odometer reads just over 54k & It is believed to be 154,000 as there is a documented maintenance record in car. Also says motor was overhauled at 88,000 miles, along with other general maintenance repairs that were noted since new.* The car does start right up and runs good. *Has exhaust leak so it is a bit loud* Heat riser choke, lights, speedometer, blinkers, heater blower, wipers, speedometer, even the cigarette lighter, & gas gauge still work. Original AM radio turns on but speakers are blown. The dash is in great condition with no cracks or fading. All stainless trim & bright work is in excellent condition as are both bumpers. Its still in its original paint which is sun faded, & will need a repaint or a good clean up & drive as you restore. The car is also equipped with a trailer towing pkg. & trailer brakes controller as well as transmission cooler, power steering & power brakes. It has a brand new battery, flushed pressure tested & restored radiator, new alternator, new master cylinder, brake booster & has newer air shocks also. I have freshened up the engine with new gaskets, fluids, filters, belts, & tune-up as well as detailed the engine bay. Tires are 90% tread BF Goodrich T/A Radials & Aluminum Turbine wheels. You don't see many of these cars around, especially with the sky view window package & will be very unique at any car show & driving down the road. Numbers matching 350 2 barrel, 2 speed automatic, runs great & drives straight as an arrow with a comfortable ride!!! This would make a perfect tow vehicle for your classic Gran Sport show or Drag car. I had planned harvest gold paint on original interior color with a 455 and a 4 speed, however due to a recent theft of my speed parts I have decided to sell the car. There are very few of these mammoth wagons left out there, so here is your chance to own a real survivor that might remind you of your childhood or a classic family car from the 60's and 70's. Now, like the Brady Bunch and that 70's show you too can have a antique wagon in the driveway. There were not that many of these sportwagons ordered and very few survivors are this original. Nada bluebook value>>> http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1968/Buick/Sport-Wagon/4-Door-Station-Wagon/Values I may entertain trades on a mechanically sound & rust free GMC or Chevrolet 4x4 truck or SUV. Possibly a tow truck with a wheel lift. mechanically sound GM vehicle preferred, but will look at others. I am auctioning the car & if it does not sell I will begin restoring the body & interior. The price will go up as parts/labor add up, as will the quality of the car. Vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied so please Feel free to message me a phone number or ask about questions/concerns/inspections before auction ends. I have more pictures of the car for Serious inquiries only Please. I do have a clean TN title in my name. The car is also currently registered and insured. The car is for sale locally & I reserve the right to end auction early.
