Driven regularly until just 10 years ago, this 1941 Packard 180 Touring Limousine has spent the past 30 years in the same family. A very rare model in itself - only 930 Packard 180s were built in 1941 - this specific vehicle is one of just a handful that were built as limousines with a 148 Inch Wheelbase. Having a base price of over $2,000 - at a time when a Ford Delux cost $800 - the 180 was the car in which to be seen. Packard offered over 100 options on this vehicle, the most expensive of them being Air Conditioing, fitted to this car, at a cost of $1,085. Other notible features fitted to this vehicle are the partition glass, separting and passengers from the Chauffer, and the dual side mounts. This car has all of its original components and is a driveable example. Although it hasn't been driven in about 10 years, some basic maintenence would put this beauty back on the road. The engine is original to the car and does turn over just fine. There are no oil leaks on the engine, although the radiator hoses will need to be replaced, as will the battery.
