Vehicle Detail

I am selling this 1937 Ford Coupe for a friend of mine. It is a Historical magazine car. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of automotive history. This car was featured in Hot Rod magazine, in the October 1965 issue. It is an incredible car, that was built in the early 60s, and it is still just as incredible and crowd forming today, as it was back then. It has been beautifully restored and preserved using the highest quality craftsmanship by the current owner. He is a very talented mechanical engineer, who also has a history of fabricating and building very successful racecars. Here are some of the many details on this amazing car: The engine is a built 355, 4 bolt block with darts heads, performance cam, forged pistons and crank, etc. The car currently runs a dual quad tunnel ram set up; and performs quite well. It has a Hays flywheel and clutch, with an Anson scatter shield. The transmission is a Super T10 4 speed, with a Hurst shifter. The rear end is a 1957 Ford 9”, which is unique and desirable because it doesn’t have the dimples on the housing. It has 4.11 gears with a Detroit locker and 31 spline axles. It has a Chassis engineering parallel leaf set up in the rear. The front is a new dropped I-beam axel. It has Chassis engineering front and rear sway bars. It has the original unsplit wishbone up front. It has ECI disc brake set up, with large Chevy calipers and Valarie rotors up front. The back brakes are Corvette discs with parking breaks. It has a Rockford Stainless gas tank. It still has the Stewart Warner Speedo and Tach that was in the car when built. It also still has the 60 Olds steering wheel. All chrome is original from 1963. The bumpers were polished on back side, which is a nice touch, very nice! The bumpers are installed upside on purpose, just like they were in 1963. The fenders and running boards were welded in 1963 as they are now. The green magic body filler that was used back then, is still there and looking great. My friend talked to the guy who originally painted the car and found the color code, which is a 1964 Cadillac turquoise mist. It was duplicated, just as in 1963. The underside is rustoleum blue. It is a true coupe with the rear seat added. It has its original Ford radiator and works great. The hood ornimate is the same as shown in original article. The tails lights are 1948 Ford The car performs as well as it looks. It can be driven anywhere, from across country to the drag strip. The detail from top to bottom is beautiful. A lot of attention has been paid to the underside and it shows very well. If you have any questions, please give me a call, I would love to tell you all about it.
