Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1995 Chevy Caprice B4U that I have cloned into a Impala SS look. The B4U option was a option that no one knew about, but included heavy duty cooling and tow package, plus all SS options with quick ratio steering, interior power options, ect. Sort of a rare option package. I purchased this car 5 months ago and made it a winter project. I located this car locally and found out it was owned by a farmer who kept it very clean with low miles. I appears the farmer had the entire bottom of the car Rhino-Lined or that typed of coating, it is not junk undercoating. The underside is completely rust free and still mostly coated, and the exterior paint was all original, with no accidents, so I bought it. I own several 95 and 96 Impala SS/ Caprice's but always wanted a factory painted Garnet Red one with grey interior. I spent two months adding all the exterior Impala SS stuff, spoiler, front grill, and exterior door handles, lower trim, rear wheel trim and mirrors. I made a custom trunk emblem that I thought looks great. All GM factory body parts were sent off to a body shop and painted with base/clear coat. They also painted the small trim on the bumpers and repaired areas behind both rear wheels. This car has factory paint that shines and has no issues. Car only minor door dings that are very hard to see unless the sun hit the car just right. The Impala SS wheels are in great condition with custom center caps and the 255/50/17 tires have 70% tread. I removed the entire maroon factory interior and replaced it with complete factory grey interior that I removed from a wrecked 95 impala SS. I installed perfect cloth Bonneville bucket seats and a Impala SS center console. All the door panels are crack free and perfect with black Impala SS bezels/ window switches. Has new metal door panel savers installed. All interior dash lights work at night, including all radio lights, and the headlight switch light. The interior is in great shape for 18yrs old. The power seats and power windows work perfect. I have HID headlights installed. The cruise, heat, A/C, radio. power antenna, mirror, rear window de-icer all work perfect. The dash is perfect with no cracks or fade. Has factory keyless entry and truck release with two remotes. When installed the new exterior door SS handles, I replaced every one of the window rollers with the new updates round ones. The old factory ones broke over and over again. Mechanically I replaced lots of common problem areas (leaks) on these cars and added a few upgrades. I replaced with AC Delco parts,---New fuel pump and sender, Radiator, heater core, oil filter housing gasket, oil cooler hoses, rubber transmission lines replaced, Intake gaskets replaced, added a factory Police package oil cooler, deeper transmission pan, new deep trans filter, replaced trans fluid, black aluminum "Chevy" Valve covers, and K and N cold air intake system. Also, Installed new KYB shocks in front and rear, and Impala SS springs with the front cut down just a tad, new front brakes, new bearings in the rear end, new Dynomax 2.5 exhaust system with Dynomax mufflers and dumps under the car . It sounds good and deep, but not real loud. I am way too old for that noise. LOL The car leaks nothing and needs nothing. Drives, shifts, turns, stops perfect. No check engine lights and if someone in MO buys it, I will have it safety inspected. Gets 24 MPG on highway and 17 around town. Car has 293 Posi rear end with 9 inch drum brakes and tow package. The E brake works. (I have a newly rebuilt 342 posi disk brake rear end and a mechanical fan delete kit that can be installed before the car leaves my house for a additional fee) You can come take a look or test drive in person, but don't waste my time. Title is clear and in my name and possession. I am a full time Police Officer in St. Louis and work nights, and a full time mechanic on my days off, and collect Chevy cars. I own 4 Impala SS/ Caprice so I really think these look very sharp when done right. I have no idea what with this car is worth, I has not been listed anywhere else but here. I'm selling it to buy a small used camper for my wife and two kids to go camping this spring, so it's got to sell this week. I get compliments when I do drive it due to the color combo and condition. Pics are current and taken yesterday. I'm not a car dealer in any way, just enjoy building these cars. I HAVE 100% FEEDBACK HERE AND DON'T SELL JUNK, IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 FEEDBACK PLEASE CALL/TEXT/ OR EMAIL ME BEFORE YOU BID TO JUST CONFIRM YOU WILL PURCHASE THE CAR. IF YOU DON'T YOUR BID WILL BE REMOVED AND BLOCKED. NO EXCEPTION WILL BE GIVEN. I DON'T PLAY GAMES AND ITS A HUGE WASTE OF TIME IF A NON-BUYER BIDS. THE CAR WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER WITH NO RESERVE. SOMEONE WILL GET A GREAT CAR AT A DEAL OF A PRICE. ONE OF THE NICEST YOU WILL FIND ON EBAY. NO SCAMS, BULLCRAP, OR WASTING MY TIME PLEASE. I HAVE SEEN IT ALL IN MY LINE OF WORK OVER THE LAST 18 YRS HERE IS MY PHONE NUMBER- TEXT OR CALL WITH QUESTIONS OR PICTURE REQUEST 314-681-6918. This car can be driven anywhere without concern, I built this to take a family vacations safely. I can pick up the new owner at the airport if needed or I can deliver it on my car trailer to surrounding states for a additional fee. I work 13 days each month, and do have some time off during the week. THANKS FOR LOOKING!On Feb-12-13 at 13:23:41 PST, seller added the following information: Hey just wanted to make clear this car will be sold to the highest bidder, NO RESERVE, I will not sell it off ebay and will not have Buy It Now Price in mind. Just Bid to win and I will let the car go for whatever it sells for on ebay. I think that is fair for everyone. Also, I have cancelled some bids, so please follow my the one request I have to make this worth the time and effort. Thanks
