Up for sale is my 1981 Volkswagen Pickup. I bought it last year with the intent to put a TDI diesel in it, but have not had the time to work on doing that. The car has been a California car its whole life and has a diesel title which it was originally equipped with. It now has a 1.6 liter engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. It runs and drives ok but the choke is not hooked up so it's a bit cold blooded at first. It has been lowered front and rear and has GTI snowflake rims and GTI seats. It also has a fairly loud exhaust system and MOMO steering wheel. It would be a great truck for a restoration with a modern engine installed and is smog exempt. It has a clean CA title.On Feb-15-13 at 20:32:07 PST, seller added the following information: The speedometer on the truck has not been hooked up since the engine has been swapped. Also the radio is not currently working. I have more pictures of underneath the truck for anyone interested, it is rust free.
