1972 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE with a GOOD BODY 350 ENGINE THAT IS REBUILT 350 TURBO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION....POWER STEERING NICE BLACK INTERIOR with BUCKET SEATS AND CONSOL 15 INCH Z28 RALLY WHEELS with FIRESTONE TIRES NUT-SHELL::: This is a good looking car, things work and its no rust bucket. The paint is slick, the glass clear, the vinyl top good, the interior has no wear. Even the horn, gas gauge and dome light work. My price is real, I will do no trading, I'm a 66 year old retired auto mechanics instructor and was a Army helicopter mechanic and instructor, I'm doing this for the love of it and usually just make my labor. I did not restore this car. If you read close I will tell you about the warts and defects on the car. I do not show cars on Sunday, I do no work on other peoples cars. I'm doing this because I love it, but if I don't make labor its no fun. I welcome you to come inspect the car during normal work hours. Thank you, Ron Watson VIN 1D37F21527870 MILEAGE: 24572 reading and I'm sure you can add another 100,000 HISTORY: We bought this car from a friend in southern Ohio. The car was said to come from the deep south before restoration, it rock solid so I think this to be true, but has no documentation. TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches. IS THIS A REAL SUPER SPORT? No!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has the stripes and cowl hood, but it was not born a Super Sport. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? I consider this a good solid car. The frame, the floors, the trunk, under the rear window all look good. The floors look original and good, the under side in not detailed slick and shinny, but its solid. DOES THE CAR HAVE BONDE/BODY FILLER? Of course it does, have you ever seen one that has none, I havn't, but it has no bubbles, no swelled places, no cracks, its about as good as you will find. If somebody tells you thier car has none, you had better be alert. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a vehicle I like and can sell for a fair market price, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: The paint is nice, its a medium blue with lots of metallic, we thing it is GM crystal blue metallic. The paint is not perfect, but very good. No dents, no dings and the car is reasonably straight to look down the sides. The door jambs, trunk lips and all other inside areas are painted slick. I see 4 or 6 chips that have been touched up, mostly on the edges and one thin place on the crest of the center of the hood where the paint is buffed thin. The metallic blue paint with the black stripes and black vinyl top look just right on this car. THE HOOD! Its an original cowl hood that someone in years past has put on the car, the cowl door is not hooked up.THE TACH WORKS!Vinyl TOP: Its in very good condition, no cracks, no rust bubbles under it, under a critical eye inspection I only see a very tiny nice.STRIPS! Black strips are painted on and look good. CHROME: The stainless is very good, the door handles very good, the emblems very good, the bumpers are not rusty, but have very tiny pits. INTEROR: Good interior with no smell and no wear, car does have seat belts front and back. UNSERSIDE: Nice, but not show deatailed and not covered up with thick under-coating. The frame and supports are good, the floor pans are good and look original, the door bottoms are good. GLASS: The side windows roll up and down good, the windshield is clear. SOUND SYSTEM: No radio. ENGINE: The engine is a rebuilt 350 that runs very strong, it has no knocks or rattles, no bad oil leaks,it has a mild looping cam, 4 barrel carburetor, header plug wires and it runs good. If I was going to keep the car I would put some chrome stuff on it. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Nice sounding exhaust system, it has the Muscle car sound. The headers are full tube and not coated and the mufflers by Flow Master, it good, but not new. NEW GAS TANK! NEW SHOKES! TRANSMISSION: Turbo 350 3 speed automatic that shifts good. REAR-END: 12 bolt Chevrolet with no whines or growls. BRAKES: Disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear, they have a power booster. STEERING: The steering is good, the car is power steering. WHEELS AND TIRES : 15 inch Z28 Rally wheels, the tires look good and are Firestone Firehawk SS. LIGHTS and wiring: The head lights work, the tail lights work the brake lights work and the turn signals work, the dome light works. THE GAS GAUGE WORKS! SPEEDMETER WORKS! Horn works! WIPERS WORK, the switch opening is a little rough. . GUAGES: The oil, temp and charge are mounted in the dash. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? They open and close good. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just too hard!
