Vehicle Detail
*** I made an arithmatic mistake about the mileage on the oil and tires. It was 180 miles more than previously stated. I have fixed the description and apologize for any confusion*** Well folks, I hate to do it, but my always garaged Goldwing, with only 32758 miles is up for sale and definitely is ready to ride. I bought this beautiful bike about three years ago in Albuquerque and have had the pleasure of putting the last 17,000 miles on it. It had virtually everything that I wanted when I bought it except for a few things I have added. I will try and list all of the non-standard features and will not list those that you have no doubt already researched. Stuff I added: Kuryakyn chrome muffler turndowns, because I didn’t want any fumes hitting the trailer and being inhaled by my passenger (wife). Plus that, they just look cool. Kuryakyn handlebar adaptors that bring the bars back 2” and down 1”, so that I’m not leaning forward to get the bars. It allows your elbows to bend, very comfortable on long rides. A custom (read I made it) cup holder A custom larger pad welded on to the kickstand – soft surfaces are no longer a worry After a 1900 mile trip around Colorado in September of last year I got the bike ready for spring by adding a new set of Bridgestone G709 tires that now have just 216 miles on them and a new, extra tall Slipstreamer windshield with 0 miles. The Mobil 1 synthetic oil & filter has 3124 miles on it, changed 7/4/12 The front shock upper seals were replaced last year along with all three sets of brake pads on the bike. It came with: CB radio – a must have for any group riding, with separate passenger push-to-talk button. 6 Disc CD Player (currently the unit is there but I’m listing it as non-functional) I use the AUX 1/8” jack in the left pocket and my Ipod for music Upgraded front and back speakers Separate passenger volume controls ABS Antilock Braking System Swivel trailer hitch with 4 way flat wiring plug Back Rest Chrome accents on the saddle bags and trunk Trunk Rack Adjustable Heated hand grips (extremely comfortable here in Flagstaff) Touring pegs Fog/running lights Full belly pan I’m sure I’m leaving some stuff out… The bike is in beautiful condition, but has been ridden. There are some light buff marks in the paint where your knees rub and the left saddle bag sometimes takes a little pulling to get it open. Otherwise the paint is in great condition as well as the seat and backrests. The motor purrs like a kitten, but then it is a Goldwing. It is just sitting in my garage so it has some light dust on it in the pictures. If you see anything that looks “funny” in the pictures, it is most likely a reflection, so just ask for more pictures. Why, why would I sell it? Because I am changing hobbies into weight-shift trikes (flying ultralights) and I just don’t have the time to ride it anymore. Let me know if you have any questions or need any close ups of anything. If you are looking for a bike to just get on and ride, this is the one. If you live in Phoenix, you really need to look at this bike. Please remember that Flagstaff Arizona is at 7000 feet above sea level and it is early February. Snow is always possible and welcome.
