This is a 1940 Austin Bantam Riviera. It was restored a number of years ago. The car runs and drives good. It has the original 3 main bearing engine. Mechanically, this car needs nothing for short ice cream runs or a drive to the local cruise in. The brake shoes need to be redone at some point. It puts out of puff of smoke when starting up. Cosmetically, this car looks as good as the recent $36,500 Barrett Jackson car going down the road at 40 mph. The paint still holds a nice shine. Rare parts such as the rear quarter windows, original seats, and air cleaner are still with the car. Upon close inspection you can see small chips in the paint, a small ding on the rear fender, etc. The interior is in good condition and the top, although a few years old, will still keep out the elements.
