Though showing obvious and heavy wear, it still has significant good mechanical life and is suitable for similar purpose and obtainable at a very affordable cost. It was mechanically well cared for and regularly serviced professionally, and is in very good mechanical and operating condition, however, it is clearly in fair to poor overall cosmetic condition; especially the interior. The organization noted currently holds a clear title signed by the original owner (still in their name) and was obtained in early January of this year. Net Proceeds from this sale will go toward funding Seton Youth Shelters, a 24/hr a day safe haven, counseling and outreach services center to assist runaway youths and those in crisis throughout Hampton Roads with goal of reuniting families. History: This vehicle was purchased by current owner as used in March 2005 with 17K miles, for the purpose of using as a construction crew transport vehicle, as one of a number of such 'fleet' vehicles owned by this company and maintained by a company employee dedicated to this tasking. It was regularly serviced with oil changes every 3000 miles, new tires when needed, and other mechanical repairs effected when required. It was last serviced (oil and fluid changes) in November 2012, and cleaned (no odors or heavy soiling) prior to donation. As is typical with such vehicles driven and used by various company employees, minor exterior and any interior wear and damage was typically 'absorbed' without concern. This vehicle thus shows evidence of such heavy use and wear and tear, despite it's well maintained and currently good mechanical condition overall. Runs much better than it looks is the best way to describe this vehicle. Exterior: The exterior of this vehicle is in fairly reasonable condition overall, metallic silver as the photos depict, with no rust. We wish to disclose (please examine all photos provided) the following exterior body cosmetic condition issues: FRONT WINDSHIELD has major crack across passenger side extending to center (interior); exterior 'coating' is intact. However, this will certainly need repair or replacing before the vehicle can be inspected successfully (current inspection expired 31 Jan 2013. Evidence of noticeable paint oxidation on driver's side across most of the exterior from drivers door rearward. minor dings and scrapes are evident at various locations Dent in passenger side rear upper corner - small crack (hard to see) in rear plastic red light cover. Noticeable and significant dent across lower passenger side rear quarter panel with some evidence of possible cosmetic repair. Front and Rear bumpers show evidence of being spray painted flat gray without fully smoothing original paint flaking beneath. Front driver and passenger door exterior panels show evidence of removal of original owner company logo. Roof in good condition - very small patch areas of surface rusting starting to show here and there. Various small dings and scratches here and there overall. These are surface and cosmetic issues that are visibly evident, typical of a work passenger van of this nature and age. With exception of windshield crack, they do not detract from mechanical operation. All doors operate and close and lock soundly, all windows operate normally. Rubber seals are in overall fair to good condition however some are loose and could use securing. Interior: The interior of this vehicle is clearly in rough shape. Originally gray in color, with seats and headliner beige-tan in color, the seats are well worn - especially the driver's and passengers, and show significant seat cover and padding losses (see photos). Manual operation. Side arm rests on passenger side are there, but 'broken' and loosely hanging. Rear passenger seats are bench type and consist of one 'three-seater' forward, one three-seater rearward and one four-seater at the extreme back. There appears to be an area to install an additonal seat in the currently open center section, but this seat is not included. All these seats also show significant wear and use, but are overall in suitable condition. All seat belts appear to be in evidence and are servicable. In current configuration, appears to seat up to 11 persons (minimal legroom in extreme rear seat). The floor is hard rubber, black, showing wear but in overall good condition. The interior plastic gray paneling throughout shows clear oxidation and discoloration overall. Interior door paneling (black areas) show clear puncture, and rip wear overall. The headliner is in poor shape, showing staining and discoloration overall and some sagging here and there, with minor tugs and tears visible. Front cockpit area is in overall fair to good condition. There is a crack in the plastic clear instrument panel covering. The vehicle is equipped with a front and rear A/C control at the front, and overrides the separate rear A/C control. A/C (typical integration controls for heater and defrost) works very well. Equipped with factory AM/FM stereo radio. Center console in fair to good condition. Front top dash panel in good shape with no cracks or breaks. Front sun visors in good condition with passenger side mirror intact. All indicators, switches work. We do not know if the 12V 'lighter receptacles' work. Mechanical: Engine and transmission is mechanically very sound, starts right up, runs smoothly and strong - in typical Ford fashion. 3-speed auto transmission (on column). Power steering. Front and passenger side front airbag equipped. 5.4 Liter V8 EFI Engine in sound mechanical condition - drive belt in very good condition. Brakes are good, and rotors have good wear left. Shocks good. Tires show good tread wear left as can be seen. Undercarriage free of major rust. Muffler and Catalytic Converter in good condition. No evidence of fluid leakage during operation or at rest. Battery servicable and holds charge indicated; no oxidation on posts. Odometer shows 150,026 actual miles at time of photos.
