Thank you.Offered for sale is our beautiful, original, incredibly strong running, numbers matching 1970 Jaguar E-Type OTS Roadster finished in wonderfully era-specific and factory correct from new Light Blue (Glasurit Paint Code JAG-507) with its original navy interior and black soft top. This example is exceedingly presentable, with deep and lustrous paint, an excellent body and its original, roaring, twin Stromberg carbureted 4.2L engine. This is a special example of an unrestored and well cared for original E-Type. Marred only by the most minimal of imperfections (none of them significant enough to appear in the pictures), the car’s exterior is beautiful and never fails to turn heads. The body is straight with good panel fits and gaps and all of the chrome is in great condition, as is the glass and rubber. The original soft top and boot cover show only minimal wear and the chrome knock-off wire wheels are wrapped in brand new Red-Line tires. The car’s original interior is equally as clean with presentable leather seats and interior panels showing only minimal wear for their 42 years of service. The engine starts effortlessly, idles consistently and pulls with incredible, grin inducing force under acceleration. The transmission shifts flawlessly, the car drives and brakes straight and it’s an utter joy to be behind the wheel, whether tooling around town or tearing up the coast for the weekend. The car’s body, frame and undercarriage are all incredibly solid and well presented. This is not a restored show car, but as the pictures show it is an exceedingly presentable, beautiful and honest weekend driver or garage queen that will make its next owner proud. E-Type values seem to just keep appreciating and it’s hard to imagine a more fun or iconic investment. They’re simply one of the most beautiful and enjoyable sports cars ever produced, and this is a wonderful original and unmolested example that’s priced very fairly.
