Up for bids is a rough and rusty Dodge Ramcharger with a Meyer 7-1/2 foot power angle plow. I don't think that I would try to use this as an on-road vehicle. Would probably be best as a dedicated plow truck for a business or home property with a long driveway or big parking area. It will need some repairs before it's ready to work. The good: It runs, goes, and stops. Engine was rebuilt in the early 90's. I was told that it's a 318 with 340 heads and intake. The engine does not smoke, and compression is decent, ranging from 135-148 psi. Carburetor just rebuilt and new spark plugs installed Less than 10 miles on rebuilt transmission Plow system works fine Lots of tread on meaty tires, great for plowing snow Stainless brake lines (except on front axle) Oil and antifreeze are clean Interior is presentable Truck is basically still structurely sound Good driver side door included, along with some of the missing trim The bad: Although the engine runs ok, it doesn't run quite right due to a leaking intake manifold gasket. If the truck sells with the $1250 Buy-it-now, I will replace the intake gaskets as part of the deal. Engine has some valve train noise, though it's been that way for a long time Truck has been off the road since 2005 and will need some repairs before it's ready to work Wipers don't work Power windows need new motors Passenger side door latch bad All emission parts have been removed: converters, vapor canister, egr, etc. There's some corrosion on power angle pistons Plow hoses need replacing The A/C system is empty The ugly: Lots of rust in all the usual places: quarters, rockers, fenders, some areas of the cab structure, and some holes in the floors. Needs a driver side exhaust manifold and the section of pipe that connects to it. It is leaking and is loud. The truck is located in Dublin, PA. which is about half way between Philly and Allentown. You are welcome to come and look at it in person if you so desire. I took it for a spin around the block the other day and it drove fine, but due to the exhaust leak and the fact that it's been off the road so long, it should be towed or trailered to it's new home.
