Porsche 912 1968 2 door Coupe, # 2,603 out of the 5598 produced that last year of the collectible short wheel based cars. Karmann body works built, originally painted #6804 Light Ivory. I wa numbers matching I purchased this car in a small, Western Kansas town from a longtime dealer who had stored it many years ago to "restore someday" that never came. Last driven in 1992, then parked at his shop. Over the years he misplaced the keys to it, and many other vehicles.  I recently trailered it back to Florida, and it is currently at a local Restoration shop in Micanopy, about 2 miles off Interstate 75, 100 miles South of the Fl/Georgia border. One repaint long ago to Black. 5 speed shifts, engine turns easily, & I was told it is the original. No apparent accidents. Rusty rockers, some floor rust. I would replace both if restoring. Not a rust bucket, quite restorable. 5 Chrome wheels that have chrome chipping/peeling. Rolls easily on 3 old tires and 1 new. Spare, jack, tire tool, old battery still in front trunk. Appears to be all original Except after- market radio/cassette, Sony speakers, original carbs replaced with Webers, no keys. All gauges intact, seats are still decent, all glass and chrome original and ok EXCEPT 2 cracks in the windshield. Please see pictures for details of condition.Ask for more pictures if interested. My reason for selling: I have several other Porsches ahead of restoration so something has to go. $500 Paypal deposit due 48 after auction close. Balance in US dollars or certified check from US bank due at PICKUP WHICH MUST BE COMPLETED within 2 weeks of auction close, unless pre -purchase arrangements made otherwise.
