I'm the second owner. Car has no rust anywhere and never had any, Never been wrecked and allways garage kept. It's all orginal except paint. The car was painted 13 years ago because of normal garage rash over years. Yes even the top is the factory orginal top and it works great and no leaks, not even an air leak. Went to big car show in OC in Oct which is 150 miles away, but on way home it rained all day long. So top up (whatadrag) no leaks. The car is real tight. no wind whistles, at all. Amazing for 40 year old weather striping rubbers. Now for the flaws.. The chrome strip around the dash has a couple cracks..It snaps in and can be bought for under 50 bucks. The tires are in great shape,, but if she sits parked for a couple weeks, she will feel like the Flintsones car for about 10 miles, then smooth right out. The bumpers don't quite have the luster the use too. The carb could use a rebuild, because you have to pump the hell out of the gas peddle if it sits. Paint has a few chips that have been touched up, nothing you can see from 6 feet back. Oh yea and the tail pipe has sum pin holes. One last thing,, if the car has been sitting, she has a lifter tick until she warms up good. This 43K Cutlass Supreme Conv is a lot of fun and gets thumbs up everywhere you go.
