Up for sale is a 1997 BMW 540i. This car has the 5 speed automatic transmission and 4.4L V8. The engine runs nice with no noises and the transmission shifts smooth. It is silver and has a black leather interior that is in very good shape with no rips or tears. The exterior of the car is in very good shape. The paint is still bright and has lots of shine to it. This car has no rust on any part of it what so ever. I would give the exterior a 8.5 out of 10. The interior looks almost brand new with everything being in good condition. I would give the interior a 9.5 out of 10. Everything works on the car except for the squirters to wash the windshield. A new washer pump is needed but is only $15. Everything else on the car works like it should. The only thing modified on the car is the exhaust. The previous owner removed the rear muffler to get a little bit of rumble out of the V8. He gave me the OEM muffler and it is going to be included with the sale. The car is not loud by any means. Right now it just has a slight rumble so I never bothered reattaching the rear muffler. The previously mentioned are the only things that are not perfect with the car. Everything else is in very nice shape. This car rides so nice and has plenty of power to get you where you want to go. This car is mechanic owned and has been looked over and maintained on a continual basis. The 540i is also equipped with the winter package, which includes heated seats and a heated steering wheel. The wheels on the car are OEM M5 wheels that are 18x8 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. The tires are Continental Contiprocontacts and have 70% tread left. This car was produced when BMW was arguably at their finest. This BMW represents the company nicely and still turns heads to this day. This is a very nice car and would be great for anyone.
