Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE!!! I am re-listing this vehicle because the high bidder last time failed to come up with the money. If you do not have a bidding history you must email me or I will delete your bid. Thanks. This Wagon has been my wife's car for the past few years but we just bought a SUV to replace it and have decided to sell it AS IS. The car has an intermittent problem with the transmission going into Limp Home mode. My Mechanic recently traced the issue to a faulty pressure regulator solenoid. He quoted me 600 dollars to fix the solenoid. The engine runs well and the transmission shifts perfectly when it is not in limp home mode. Even in limp home mode the car is still derivable but is sluggish due to starting out in 3rd gear. The car has a couple other minor issues. The thermostat cover is seeping coolant. One of the wheels vibrates at highway speeds but is fine around town. 2 of the tires have very little rubber left. The other 2 tires are quite good. The hood is showing some fading in the paint right behind the hood ornament. On the interior the control panel for the seat adjustment has become detached from the seat, all seat controls still work perfectly though. The leather in the front is in quite good shape for the age of the car. The leather in the back seats is showing some slight indentations from the child car seats, although those will probably go away once the weather gets warmer. The is a piece of plastic missing where the shift lever slides back and forth. The rest of the trim including the wood is in great shape. That is pretty much it for the negatives. The good news is the car has a solid body, no dents or crashes. The title is clean. The SID ( Saab Information Display) has been replaced so It does not have any missing pixels. The heated seats are super warm and comfy. If the solenoid was fixed then it would be safe, efficient and comfortable transportation. I have 4 cars and need to sell this so I decided to sell it as is instead of fixing it only to sell it. This car was bought in Seatle, but for much of its life it was a Florida car. It shows no sign of rust. If you are the winning bidder I require a 10% payment via paypal within 24 hours. The rest of the balance should be taken care of within 7 days. The car can be picked up by your trailer or you can drive it home providing you understand how it drives in limp home mode. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have.
