I am selling my 1978 Ford F150 4x4 pick-up Ranger XLT with an 8 foot bed. The truck has the 351 V8 engine and an automatic transmission. It has A/C, sliding rear window, dark blue paint with blue cloth interior, chrome grill and chrome headlight doors, chrome front bumper guards, and chrome bed rails. It has a 6" suspension lift with new shocks and Mickey Thomspon ATZ tires on Mickey Thomspon aluminum rims. Tire size is 36x15.50r15. I've had the truck for over a year and the gentlemen I bought it from had it since 1990. He said it's been in his family since new. I've always kept it in a garage and he did also since 1990. Previous owner had the truck painted about 15 years ago. Still looks good. The interior is clean and in nice condition. All the chrome moldings are still in good shape. On Jan-24-13 at 20:05:34 PST, seller added the following information: After many emails with questions about the truck I just wanted to let people know some little things the truck needs. The fuel gauge was working, stopped working, worked again, than quit working. I think it may be the float in the tank or the sending unit. The emergency brake does not work. The cable is stiff. Not sure what is wrong with it but most likely will need to be replaced. The bottom of the doors may have had some rust that was repaired when the truck was painted. I have had a couple of requests with pictures of the undercarriage, I will provide more pictures as soon as possible. Please keep in mind the truck is 35 years old and is not perfect, but it is in very nice shape for its age.
