This truck is absolutely incredible. The history is as good as the truck itself. Owned and titled to a Family Farm - Cattle Company and transferred to the owner of the company (55-60 years old) in 2006, this truck is a ONE OWNER vehicle, although the history report will show two owners due to the transfer from the far name to the personal name. It has been extremely well taken care of, and built!! The truck has just one accident in 2010, with "no to slight damage" reported on the accident report on the rear of the vehicle. There is no evidence of any damage anywhere. Obviously this truck has a CLEAN AND CLEAR Nebraska title. The owner traded this truck in to the local new car dealer, and I purchased it from a wholesaler just a week ago or so. It runs, looks, and drives awesome. It has 201,XXX miles. There are MANY HIGH END modifications made to the truck. They were done with CLASS. Remember,the owner of this truck was older, and extremely wealthy, so I do believe that there was NO expense spared in making this truck what it is. Included in the modifications are ATS Turbo, ATS Transmission Upgrade, and methyl injection. These are the modifications I know and there are probably many more, but I am not saavy enough to figure them all out. In addition, the paint job was done with no expense spared. The striped are painted in, and you cannot feel the difference when you rub your fingers across the design. Feels like the same coat. I would guess it was at least a $5000+ paint job. I asked my paint guy who does great work how much it would cost to make it all black, and he told me $1200 for a high quality job, So, if you don't like the design, you can repaint it. The truck does blow black smoke when you hit it. If you want or like black smoke, you got it with this one. It is awesome. If you don't like the stack, you can remove and bring it out the back. The truck has incredible power. When you hit it, it goes very very fast. I do not know how many horsepower but I know that it is very high compared to the average Duramax diesel. The engine sound awesome, starts in the coldest of weather, and all fluids look great!! I do not believe that there are ANY problems with this truck mechanically. With all of the money poured into the truck and with the obvious EXCELLENT care it has had,I would assume the injectors have been replaced but cannot prove it. It does not smoke at idle and that usually indicates that they are all good and or replaced. It runs and drives great in all ways. The 4WD works awesome as well. The heater works great, all windows, etc. The ABS light is on right now, and it wasn't on the other day. Not sure why, and maybe it could be cleared off? The tires are around 40%. Good enough to keep on. The body of the truck is exceptional for the year. There are really no rust bubbles anywhere and it is almost rust free except for just sruface rust on rockers. Very light and no rust through at all. It is very clean for the year. NOT PERFECT - but very very clean!! It appears there is no bondo on truck anywhere. Looks 100% original and clean. The interior is very very clean as well. Very well taken care of. FAR BETTER than the average. I am not a diesel mechanic nor am I an expert in the modifications made to this truck. I am not asking $20k for the truck which is what it is probably worth when considering what is invested in it. My price reflects that it is a good running diesel truck that I would not hesitate to take ANYWHERE in the country just the way it is. The oil prerssure, temp and all gauges look great and register well. The overhead console has an ATS monitor system that shows boost, temp etc and I think it all looks great also. The transmission upgrade switch has different modes you can program and I am not sure how to use it. Same for the methyl injection. I am not sure how it works, etc. With that being said, you are getting an AWESOME CUSTOM TRUCK for just $11,900. If there are things that it needs, expect that!! Usually when a car or truck is traded in to a new car dealer, as this one was, there was a reason for it, and it is my job as a used car dealer to really find out why. Very seldom is a car or truck traded in for the sole purpose of just getting something newer. Ususally people trade their cars or truck because something is wrong with it. In this case I honestly cannot figure out why the guy traded this in. From the second I saw this truck, I have tried to find flaws with it, and in my opinion they just are not there!!! In my opinion he traded his baby in with great hesitation and must have found a new one that he couldn't say NO to. That's my honest opinion of the truck! The truck is sold strictly as is.
