Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1990 Ford Mustang that is origninally a V8 car and Wild Strawberry Red/ Black interior with a 351 Windsor that has been bored and stroked to 408 ci. First off, I want to be as honest about this car as I can, because I know how some people can be misleading in their ads. The engine block is a 70's model with forged internals and I believe an Eagle stroker kit. Being that this engine is flat tappet, the camshaft has a lift of .680 which hits a very mean lick. Heads on the engine are Edelbrock Victor Jrs. with an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, longtube headers, 7qt oil pan, ungraded clutch, 3.73 gears, upper and lower rear control arms, subframe is tied, aluminum radiator, electric fan, MSD ignition, 4pt cage. The car has a Barry Grant carb on it. and the fuel system is a stock-style tank that is sumped with an Aeromotive fuel pump and 1/2" fuel line running all the way from the tank to the carb. The car has a Tremec transmission which will uphold the toque and power that this car makes. The tires are about 50% all the way around and are wrapped around Weld Draglites. This car is very fast and not for the inexperienced driver. The car does need: the speedometer hooked back up, the clear coat is starting to fade on the roof and hood, passenger window motor, and door lock actuators.. This car is by no means perfect and needs TLC in some places. But if you are looking for a car that is very quick for a good deal, the reserve is set so that the car will sell. Everything that has been mentioned about this car was told to me from the previous owner. I do not have the receipts for the engine build and am just going by what I was told from the previous owner. This car is stupid fast and I know what a 302 and 351 feel like and this engine has definitely had some work done to it. The back seat is unusable to to the cage being put into the car and the battery has been located to the rear of the hatch. This car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if need be. Also there are no warranties expressed or implied with the purchase of the car. A $500 payment must be made within 24 hrs of auction end and shipping should be arranged on the buyer's end. Thanks
