CUSTOMIZED -- 1957 CHEVROLET BELAIR. This is a ONE-OF-A-KIND 4 door Belair that has been customized down to a 2 door Convertible. For sale by owner. Clear, Clean Title. Titled as a 4 door. Numbers Match Car even though it has been customized. In Flat Black Primer. IT TURNS HEADS EVERYWHERE IT GOES! Everyone wants to see it and talk about it. RUNS & DRIVES! 283 Engine. Automatic transmission. Four barrel carburetor. Stock motor. Aftermarket breather. Air Shocks. Dual exhaust. Nice wheels and tires with good tread. Custom welded frame-- done right--it's straight. The doors shut right & easy. There is NO bondo on the front fenders or the rear quarter panels...only where the rear doors were removed. I have posted pictures of the body and frame reinforcement, professionally done. Still has the stock rubber bushings. The rocker panels are solid. The floor pans and trunk pans are all solid...as pictured. NO TOP, as you can see in the photos. The bucket seats swivel, they are from a Chevy Laguna. Faded Gray & Black Interior. Gas door is still hidden in the rear drivers-side fin...I showed a picture of it open. Manual windows roll up and down. ALL the lights work, head lights, brake lights, etc. Bumpers and chrome in good condition with some pitting as expected. NEEDS: The customization needs to be perfected behind the seats---the bondo is rough and needs to be professionally finished, as pictured. The windshield wipers do not work. The left turn signal only works manually, the right turn signal is fine. Brakes work good but pull to the left so they will need some adjustment. The carburetor has been replaced at some point, it needs a little tinkering. Does not have a radio, as pictured. The drive shaft needs to be taken out and balanced--it vibrates at 55 miles per hour....easy fix. The tires are 2 and 2 white letter (as pictured) with good tread. $200 good faith deposit through PayPal at the end of the auction. Pickup at my home in Williamsburg, Ohio 45176 within 3 days of the auction end with the balance due in cash....unless we have agreed otherwise prior to the auction ending.
