The Lewistown Fire Department is selling their 1999 Chevrolet Yukon. We are the third owner of the vehicle. The vehicle was bought new by our local ambulance service. Then the County coroner purchased the unit and then the Fire Department. We have owned the unit since 2009. In 2010 the motor was replaced with a remanufactured Jasper motor, the motor is a 5.7l. The new motor has the 3,000 miles on it and that is a high estimate. We have only put 5,000 miles on it since we purchased the unit. The unit has a whelen 9000 series lightbar and stobes in the front fenders and rear doors. It has a Jotto desk console in the front with room for 2 radios and 2 more options. It has a Code 3 valcom siren/light controller. The radios will be taken out but the antennas will remain. The unit is in good condition and currently is being used as a personnel carrier or utility vehicle. All the power options work. The A/C works well, the 4 wheel drive works and transmission have had no problems.The tires have good tread on them and the interior is in good shape. The unit has a 20 amp twist lock plug in on the drivers front fender the power the 110v outlets in the back. It has a Broan heater in the back, unsure if it is functional. The unit has a battery charger that trickle charges the batteries when plugged in. The terms of the sale are cash or cashiers check and shipping is pick up only at the firehouse at 305 S.
